I don’t know, this may be one of the most perfect songs ever. I dunno what it is, the bass line, the rhythm guitar, the lead guitar, the Voice. It’s just perfect.
Saw this band at a bar in the 90’s. After the show me and my buddy were smoking a joint in the bathroom. The lead singer walked in and joined us. Good times.good times.
She said "I sent you to college, now go call your Dad." And the waitress that he married, well she hung up the phone. You know she never did like me, but I can stand on my own. Awesome lyrics.
I'm mesmerized by this. All I knew about Cracker was that I'd hear "Low" on the alternative station regularly. Never even knew what the band looked like. Then I heard this song a week ago. It's just so amazing. The album version is canonical, I guess, but this live version is an awesome quality video, and maybe an even better rendition.
I had never heard of Cracker when a friend's band played this at his 60th birthday party. I fell in love with this song instantly. Now, whenever we go to one of their shows, we always request Eurotrash Girl, at the top of our lungs! Like others have commented, I also love Johnny's guitar playing here.
When I watch this and take a look back into the 90's beautiful and ecleptical music scene. I ask my self where music has gone. The real good music. Pretty awesome Cracker!!
I believe this song was a hidden track in the Kerosene Hat album! Cool song, they used to play this on alternative radio station in Norfolk back in ‘94!
So mad I completely whiffed on these guys in the 90's. Would have seen them in concert a bunch. Making up for lost time, and thoroughly enjoying it. As underrated as it gets. Love this version.
Every time I've seen Cracker, Johnnie always seems to start out very tenuously, almost like if he was just a beginner level guitarist. Then, little by little, he opens the throttle. Not long after that, I'm delirious with joy, no surprise.
One of my biggest regrets in life has always been when I saw Camper in about 1990 or so, in Munich, and spending time with the band after the concert, backstage and not talking to the girl who was the violinist. I talked to Johnny & David, but not her.....even after I noticed she was trying to get my attention, or at the least the attention of the 2 other guys with me, including my brother as we left. I hate regret. Had to have been Morgan Fichter
Eric Clapton heard "Hey Jude" by Wilson Pickett(I know it's a Beatles song and I am fairly certain so did he) and said the guitar was the perfect example of Soul Guitar. It was Duane Allman. And it is. I feel like this is the perfect example of late 80s early 90s pre-grunge garage band future hipster that did a lot of drugs but is cool now guitar.

Best hidden track of all time..
Nothing is even close
I remember those days.
There were a couple good ones on NIN Broken, but yeah this one is classic
Track #69!

I'm sixty. I've been listening to this song since my early thirties. Love it every time. Hickman is truly a great guitarist.
This song really hits a good spot for me.
I'm 59, and just discovered it, lol. I'm in awe at what an awesome song it is.
and he knows it! Love the stage presence
She said "I sent you to college, now go call
your Dad." And the waitress that he married, well she hung up the phone. You know she never did like me, but I can stand on my own.
Awesome lyrics.
Awesome lyrics
It’s the section cut in the radio edit, too.
Great performance of this song. But of course youtube had to play a commercial right in the middle of the guitar solo.
This is one of the best live versions of a song ever. I can't stop listening. Lead guitar is amazing telling a story with the music!

i'm 66 and still love this
Michael Krafchek 56 and loving it too. Saw them live in a small dive bar in Pittsburgh last month. And at the hard rock last summer. Good times.
Me too, and I'm 75! By the looks of it, unfortunately, these guys and Tom Petty are going to go down as the last of the great R & R bands.
This popped up in my 90s Alt random Playlist and I am not complaining.
One of the best bands from the 90's loved chillin out drinking beer and getting STONED....
Johnny HIckman's guitar is off the charts here!!!1
Johnny Hickman's guitar is off the charts just about every time he plays it.
A very under rated guitarist to say the least... Go Johnny Go!
Saw them last night at the Grey Eagle and he is still killing it! Damn what a finish on this song.
Yeah he's the best I can't figure out what kind of style that is is it Southern is it country that sounds a little bit like Stevie Ray Vaughan
Still searching
If it got any better than this I must've relapsed.

Kerosene Hat album, which I bought at first sight at Tower Records.
Thumbs down for ads in the middle of the solo. Cracker has always been amazing.
A very under-rated band and song, Cracker is great !!
Agreed. Cracker is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED
One of my favorites bands !!! ♥️
When I watch this and take a look back into the 90's beautiful and ecleptical music scene. I ask my self where music has gone. The real good music. Pretty awesome Cracker!!

Thanks for uploading! Richmond, Virginia boys sounding as good as ever.
You can have Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Cracker and Gin Blossoms were my two favorite bands from the early and mid 90s.
You are my new best friend!
Holy shit, VCR Time Machine, your channel is awesome. Subscribed!
Agreed.
Did not know that Robert Downey Jr was in Cracker..........What a version of this song.
That's Johnny Hickman. He Rocks!
Derek Lutz
I believe this song was a hidden track in the Kerosene Hat album! Cool song, they used to play this on alternative radio station in Norfolk back in ‘94!
I miss the idea of "hidden tracks"
Fantastic live version, better than original!!!! Love the guitar, this guy is a trip and you can see he loves his ability to play.

So mad I completely whiffed on these guys in the 90's. Would have seen them in concert a bunch. Making up for lost time, and thoroughly enjoying it. As underrated as it gets. Love this version.

I really enjoyed hearing this band and the song for the first (and only time) at the LA Rock N Roll Half Marathon headliner concert last Sunday.
I’ll be seeing this Band next weekend SEP 9 & 10 @ Pappy & Harriet’s at Pioneertown.
91. Is this the 91st comment or are the algorithm bots messing with me.
Love this song ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love it any version
Every time I've seen Cracker, Johnnie always seems to start out very tenuously, almost like if he was just a beginner level guitarist. Then, little by little, he opens the throttle. Not long after that, I'm delirious with joy, no surprise.

@@gagrown6204 Come on Brother, tell me you don't miss Mikey Hauser from Widespread Panic and Duane & Greg Allman. CHEERS
Love you man!
I wish you guys could do another version with Leftover Salmon.
CRACKER ARE STILL THE BEST ROCK N ROLL BAND OF ALL TIMES 😇😍😎 THEY JUST KNOW HOW TO WRITE GOOD MUSIC AND GREAT SONGS
classic "and the waitress he married" ....."she never did like me"
Eric Clapton heard "Hey Jude" by Wilson Pickett(I know it's a Beatles song and I am fairly certain so did he) and said the guitar was the perfect example of Soul Guitar. It was Duane Allman. Fucking awesome! Let's all eat shrooms and reset

don't hurt 'em johnny
Jeez, no compression on the vival
Wonder version FU^&eED up by a commercial during the guitar solo!! WTF!!!
This video should be remaid with Taylor Swift staring♡
chidos adornos q le mete la guitarra Gibson
The guy on lead guitar looks like Tony Stark.
Derek Lutz on guitar?
They call him Mad Max..
They must be promoting Apple Computers.
Seems they were at an all male convention or something as I saw no females in the crowd
Actually, just a typical sausage fest.
Tony Stark on the lead guitar
WICKED!
This is a great version, but I REALLY miss the accordion.
It's pretty much only two rock groups that ever had an accordion in their music cracker and John mellencamp
Sausage Fest!
It kills me that those guys have all their hair yet they have to wear it short!
very camper van
the bass player makes me uncomfortable.
