Beginner Friendly Tutorial of Watercolor painting a colorful pet (Dog)
Today I am showing you the steps I take in creating personalized pet portraits in Procreate (say that 5 times fast)
This is Episode no. 4 of a series for different types of Pet Portraits. Todays episode is a real time video in me Watercoloring a dog to make it look colorful.
Upcoming episodes I will focus on painting rainbow colors, flower crowns, and completely different types of portraits as well.
⭐I will do an episode for long hair dogs, cats, horses etc!

Hi, I wondered, can I use some of this to paint by hand in watercolor or colored pencils. I'm trying to do my daughters cat. I'm thinking that I'll watch your tutorial on drawing the animal like a cartoon first. I think that's part of my stumbling block. And how to put the colors on. Thanks for the tutorial
I originally started by hand Watercolor on paper, then decided to try to do it digitally. If you join my Facebook group, send me a message. I will send some pics of the ones I did physical paper watercolor of so you can see how I did it. 💓

Yes, I would paint the light colored dog in the same way. And I'll be doing cats and long haired cats and dogs as well 🐾

I'm not sure, but any watercolor type of brushes would probably work 😊
I went to the link and bought the brushes on there but I think they updated it and the brushes aren’t exactly the same ones that you use… they also don’t have the splashes, what other ones can I use to make those?

I haven't used that app, but any brushes will work. A jagged edges brush with lowered opacity will give you similar effects 🥰

This is definitely one of the harder designs to make. I think the easiest ones are the one line art and the sketches 🥰
