Mob Psycho 100: Spoil the entire series in OP 1 but you can't understand any of it anyway and when you watch it later it will have all new meaning.
Fun fact: the openings are made by MOB CHOIR who are literally all the MP100 cast including voice actors, animators and directors singing all together, it's really amazing to see how mob psycho has become studio bones passion project and how everyone loves it
I hope they pick up OPM for season 3 and beyond so they can finish ONE's other work

Okay, it's not close anymore. Mob Psycho is my #1 anime already, but knowing that just put a gap between it and my 2nd place (One Piece).
Damn I didn't know that MOB CHOIR was comprised of the cast. That makes me love them even more. Mob Psycho is in my top 3 anime of all time for sure.

Mob Psycho was made by a guy who goes by “One”, who also created OPM. Mob Psycho is animated in his art style as opposed to OPM which was animated in Yusuke Murata’s art style (artist of the OPM manga).

fun fact, the mob choir are just all the people that work in the office, after i found this out it gave all the openings such a different feeling, but an amazing feeling

Fun thing about this anime, despite its comedy and fight scenes being one punch man level, this anime is more focused on this boy and his development as a character/person, coming to terms with himself and dealing with feelings he didn't know how to deal with, overcoming his struggles and Overall becoming a better person and it was really a therapy anime for me in so many ways

It's not just the openings, it's the show itself that has such beautifully expressive animations, with designs simple enough to allow the animators to have as much fun as they want. I myself am studying animation, and Mob Psycho's animation is one of the best I've seen. I really hope you give this one a watch, Nic. Not only from an artistic point of view is this show amazing, but its writing is hilarious yet precious at the same time.
as a fellow artist I could just watch this shit all day man. this is why I think animation is far superior to anything live action (in my opinion. live action shows and stuff do have their place but it's far more restricted. with animation, the possibilities are as limited as the mind itself)
Nick, you complained that the third opening is called ONE, but it makes sense as a 100% is a whole ONE. This also pay homage to the author ONE and the completion of the story and journey here, where you are the only ONE of you so we must celebrate that fact.

This is the natural conclusion of an upward progression, not a downward one. And, well... emotion doesn't _have_ to be a bad thing, right? the cool thing about the visuals in these ops is that everything, and i mean EVERYTHING is a reference in some way to the story. the broccoli is important, the wacky ghost dude is important, every single little detail in these openings, the attention to detail is AMAZING!
And what makes it better is that it doesn’t spoil anything because you don’t understand what the hell is going on
You're going to absolutely *LOVE* this anime, it has everything people like us want, great story, great lore, and great battle scenes. I don't really care to write a long comment, but let me tell you, this anime is at *least* a 10/10, there's quite literally nothing wrong with it, it has great animation, great story, great scenes, and great dialogue.
Honestly if you're reading this, haven't watched it, and have nothing else to watch, I highly recommend you check it out ASAP.

I love that line "if everyone is not special maybe you can be what you want to be". Embracing the ordinary allows for the extraordinary. If we're not inherently special there's no expectations for us and nothing that separates us from the people we aspire to be like except our own doubts and weaknesses. We don't have a purpose or destiny we are the architects of our own dreams and fulfilment. That's the core of MP100, self-actualisation, identifying our short-comings and working to overcome them to be the people we want to be. The entire ethos of the show summed up in a single line.
About the art being objective, a LOT of people turn down this show because they think it looks "ugly"

Mob Psycho 100 is one of my favorite shows ever. I remember watching the first season and thinking that was one of the best openings ever, there was no way to improve on it. Then they came out with the second op and they somehow surpassed my expectations and the previous opening. I once again thought that there was no way to improve on it. I was once again proved wrong. In my opinion, the third op, once again somehow improved on what I thought was already perfect.

Unlike opm, Mob psycho is actually very consistent with its amazing animation and gets better as well, along with its story.
mob psycho is my favorite anime of all time, no anime (except maybe aot) could make me this emotionally attached, theres no fanservice, it has great animation, everyone in this anime is great, and you barely get bored watching it. this is definitely an anime id recommend to anyone, so i really recommend you watch it

Really in love with watching this story get picked up by studio bones and it turning into their passion project. It’s what it deserves.
It’s such a genuine and heartfelt story and the anime itself is so obviously a love letter to animation and storytelling in general. 10/10 easily my number one too.

Mob psycho is known as one of the anime with the best animation and is always brought up when the topic comes up. Everything about the animation is incredible in the show. Art, photography, choreography, camerawork. It's amazing what the team behind it did.

One Punch Man is better
Mob Psycho can make you actually feel the emotions greatly, and i swear not even Attack on Titan could make me EMOTIONALLY attached like this.
The beauty in Mob Psycho 100's animation is that the character designs are so simple, that they allow the animators to really go wild with the actual motion instead of focusing on the little details. Every fight is animated masterfully, it's really an experience you shouldn't pass up.

As a artist, I disagree with you on that, OPs right.They are a mor esimple in proportion and design, (especially clothing wise where there would be a very detailed oriented character sheet to follow for the amount of fabric fold and lines that would be more work to animated all the time) that the drastic shots of them being detailed or having a higher frame rate would be easier to focus on and streamline more so than a show that has way more complex shapes and forms on the clothing and bodies of the characters. You can even see this in the extent to which they are more willing to experiment with different animation styles even within the show and ED due to the leniency.

The only reason that you would even THINK about skipping the opening is to get to the episode faster because of how good it is
Just for clarification, only the main author/mangaka is same, it's a completely different studio from OPM but this one's also one of the big shots in the industry, after watching MP100 and reading through the whole manga I can confirm it is one of the most fun and emotional experiences I've ever had
At least until the same studio picks up season 3 of One Punch Man (hopefully).

@@mattoreo5854 (lot of reading, sorry) wouldn’t be surprised, but I think the amount of shows they’re working on already lowers the chances of them picking it up. They have to hit a limit at some point, whereas BONES has supposedly already finished all episodes of Mob Psycho and would need something to take its place. Plus, I heard a lot of the talent for OPM season 1 came from BONES (for example, I heard that scene with Meteoric Burst Boros blitzing Saitama was done by the top animator at BONES. Nakamura I believe). Honestly, the ONLY reason I think they wouldn’t be a good pick is because they can’t adapt it the same way they did Mob Psycho. OPM’s art is far too good in comparison that they can’t properly adapt it by having a lot of stuff lacking in detail (it works perfectly for Mob Psycho, but won’t for One Punch Man). But at the same time, the fact that they adapted Mob Psycho at all and as well as they did does put them at an advantage compared to other studios since they probably understand ONE’s work the most, and can use that knowledge when adapting One Punch Man. I’m sure that as long as they take their time (maybe around twice as long as any season of Mob took to make), they’d be the best studio for the job.

Mob Psycho is fucking incredible in every way as well it really does have similarities to One Punch Man, mainly cause its by the same author originally, and both are insane shows overall. Of course they're both S tier.
this show is incredible and you’ll 100000% love the main character. the show is basically centered around him coming to terms with his own emotions and himself as a person. the end of the third opening shows that. season 3 is coming in october too.

One of my favourite things about this and One Punch Man is the effort put into the humour and facial reactions. Other anime tend to rely on emoticon speech bubbles, but this show always comes out with the most wtf faces that really drive the punchlines home.
they called it cheeky speech bubbles, average animes love doing that and it feels rlly cheap, usually doesnt deliver the joke well though

Nick, I'm literally begging you to react to the mob psycho anime. It's in my top 5 anime and I'm sure you are going to love it. It has one of the most unique animation you can ever find in any anime and for the most parts it is so hilarious. Like when I first watched it I was literally questioning what in the hell I was watching. But trust me, after a few episodes you're going to absolutely love it. And those fight scenes, my god, when the animation gets serious it can, in my opinion, even surpass Demon Slayer animation

The way you reacted to these gave me so much joy. Mob Psycho 100 is a masterpiece of a franchise, you'd love it.
Mob Psycho is made by the same guy who made OPM yeah, but honestly it's even better. Like I love OPM, but sometimes it feels a little held back by it's comedic premise, that Saitama can't ever lose a fight, or even get hurt.
Mob Psycho is similar in premise, but it isn't bound by that idea. Mob get hurts. He doesnt want to fight anyone. He isn't a hero, he's just a kid who happens to be a really strong psychic. So there's a lot more that can challenge him, physically, emotionally and mentally. And it's still fucking hilarious.

The studio that animates Mob is called BONES btw, they didn't make OPM but they did FMA Brotherhood and My Hero Academia, it's one of the best studios out there and I believe the MP100 project is their love child, their favourite story they work on, the insane amount of creativity and passion put in the production proves it ❤

Mob Psycho has 2 season and the third and final one comes out in October. i think it would do you good to wait to react to it because by the time you make it through the first 2 seasons, the third will probably be close to fully released. i really hope you react to it, just like the openings, the show is a visual masterpiece

One of my favorite thing about OPM y mob 100 is that that they started just like a webcomic more on the internet and not one with particularly good art but the story has strong enough to attract the atención of the manga/anime industry and now there are god tier adaptations of these stories

Fun Fact: The band who created these openings is called MOB CHOIR and it was specifically created for this anime and yes this anime is *EVEN* better than One Punch Man imo.
That thing about Jam Project isn't true. Jam Project has been around since 2000 and has been featured in tons of anime since then. The leader of the band also wrote and sung the main theme of Dragon Ball Z as well.

YEEEEESSSS! I’ve been dying for you to pick this one up, my favorite anime and I’ve watched in the hundreds. You’re gonna LOVE it! My favorite intro is 99.9 because it takes you on the journey of the history of animation techniques and ends by showing the fighting animation over actual live real world camera footage done so flawlessly where its like they’re physically there with talent that justifies having it at the top of the evolution of animation

@@machclip OPM and MP100 both made by the same author so it’s fair if we compare them. The only thing I like about MP100 are the characters and animation. Anything else is 100% garbage
Imagine calling one punch man better when the emotional connection to the characters is barely even there.
It's great and all but Mob and Reigen will always be more relatable than Saitama or Genos.
This show has phenomenal animation and this upcoming season is gonna be insane. One of the episodes is gonna be made up of 20,000 hand drawn frames which is insane considering the avg is 3000 frames

I really love Mob Psycho. You know someone that's really passionate towards something they love that it couldn't help but make you admire their passion? It's them. Everyone involved in Mob Psycho is very passionate and give their all for this anime. You can see how much they love their work if you see how they talk about it. Those animation? Op and Ed? They even created a choir called Mob choir to sing in the Op. The members are the staffs themselves. It's a project of passion
Oh Bones is also my favorite studio right now and I've watched quite a lot of anime. Sure there are studio with amazing and flashy animation, but personally, with Mob Psycho and BSD, I love how creative and stylized they are
This channel has quickly grown on me, seeing someone who doesn't know the show but appreciates animation and has a genuine love for music reacting to something I love too. It's a simple formula but very effective.

A note, this is done by a different studio than OPM season 1, but the story is written by the same guy (goes by “ONE”) as OPM. Studio Bones does Mob Psycho 100 and they crank the animation quality well past 11 on that shit. It’s amazing (as you can see).

Ahh finally mob, These openings are a delirious audiovisual delight. With a lot of personality and a lot of love behind.
Not only that, but they perfectly speak to what mob is about and its ideals.
It makes me so happy to see someone show so much appreciation and love to the animations and art. Truly, the trippiness but style of the openings, ESPECIALLY #3, is literally insane but beautiful.
And the attention to how the singer sang on certain lines is great. Only solidifies my love for a show like this.

I love mob its amazing as hell, it's hard to decide between opening 1 and 2 since they are both so awesome, I haven't heard the third enough to let it sink in but it's amazing as hell.
