Because of the large size of the screen, I'm happy with the 16:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the 16:10 ratio would be more useful for 13 and 14 inch screens. Also, the screen colours are spot on, I didn't encounter any issues with it. Actually, the screen is a massive improvement compared to the 14 and 15 magic book models.
I'm looking for a new PC, either laptop or desktop for doing 4k video editing. Which laptop do you think is the best in video editing? Or you would only recommend video editing on a desktop?
I will honestly recommend getting a desktop for video editing because of upgradability and the performance that it can offer.
But if you need portability, then I suggest getting a more powerful laptop. 4K video editing will need quite a lot of VRAM. If your budget allows, I suggest getting something like the Acer Nitro 5 or the ASUS TUF Gaming A15. Though, those laptops don't have such a nice screen.
Ultimately depends on your budget and if you need portability or not.

Honestly, this laptop has better CPU performance compared to the zenbook, but both of these laptops are ultimately still ultrabooks. They can't do anything beyond office work.
@@NasiLemakTech Thanks for the reply! I agree about the office work, however I think you are being a little too critical about the integrated graphics, compared to 10th gen intel, it's way better! I believe 4500U/4600H is very capable at light gaming, photo editing, and also some 1080p video editing :)
Yes, I am being a little critical about the integrated graphics since there are a lot of people who are thinking that Ryzen chips for laptops are like a godsent to the point where it can replace NVIDIA's MX250 or something along those lines.
It can definitely do some lightweight gaming and creative work, though. Just gotta manage expectations.

according to 中正评测, the H series. i.e. mobile chips with higher TDP settings, are just a little bit cost saving comparing to U series. It's actually weird to see that more powerful chips are cheaper

Probably a very different grade/purity of aluminium used for the laptop chassis. This laptop is what I'll say 100% made from aluminium

The only laptop I have seen with zero backight bleed is the Pixelbook Go. Honestly amazing quality panel. Have had Panasonic plasma etc. and watching movies is similar. But it is a chromebook!
For me, if it's not noticeable while using the laptop then I don't bother about it. No point looking for something that doesn't affect day to day usage.

Depends on what programming you're doing. Web development is fine but definitely not enough for game development

For this comparison, the processor does not matter since they both cannot be used for gaming. And they're definitely not mostly aluminium.
Anyway, I think the deciding factor for you is the screen size. Do you want a smaller or bigger screen?
@@NasiLemakTech screen size doesnt matter, both Are nearly Same. For me Performance is important. i am Not gaming, i use it for Office, Programming /Coding (Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, CSS, C++...) Email, Multimedia.
Ah, with programming in the mix, then it's a completely different story. I recommend you to get some other laptops with 16GB RAM instead.
Running Android Studio with the VM consumes a lot of RAM.
