Thanks! Turns out I'm going to be up at Countryview Powered Parachutes (Darrell Martin) up in Wakarusa (about 7 mi west of Goshen) May 24-27, 2024. Hopefully the weather will be good as there could be 12-15 powered parachutes up there that weekend. Should be fun!

Iv been meaning to ask you about your radiator cover.. where did you get it..?

It was already on the PPC when I bought it so don't know the original source. However, the cover has an Apco label on it, so that could possibly be the source.

is your radiator half covered because the temp is so low at flying altitude?

No, it's definitely not because of altitude because I don't fly that high. For some reason this engine just runs very cool and I need to keep the radiator partially covered to get the proper temps (145-165). I usually run coolant temps of around 155-160. Without the cover it runs at 135 deg or so.
