- Wales overcame the critics and serious adversity, battling to qualify from the "Pool of Death" despite numbers injuries to key personnel. Their "next one up" attitude took them to the wire against the Springboks in the Quarter Finals. Here's a look back at some of their very best moments from the Rugby World Cup.
Legendary kicking from Dan Biggar, and brave team Captaincy from Sam Warburton were some of the many highlights.

The best performing Northern Hemisphere team in the RWC. Despite the injuries, the team and supporters represented their country well.
Well said
Scotland?
Tnx Fella..... Especially the POMS.... lol
I blame Alex Cuthbert entirely. All he had to do was hold his wing and not commit to the 9 like a novice.

Bring on the world cup 2019 .................. I gotta feeling
I feel sad for Wales. They gave everything against SA. Such a close game
And so it was 4 years later.
Great performances!! Bad luck for them, too many injuries
+sujikatful so positive for our reserves though
injuries galore the welsh never give up and never go down without a real fight
Wales need to make the semi finals in 2019 at the very least.
faletau plucking the ball from the scrums what an important guy
Both the video and the music are so perfect
As long as we beat the English
+killer pigz Thats typical of the the racist Welsh.
+Guto Roberts My point is proved.
+Kyranoboss People like you let England down.
iDealx Pot, kettle, black?
ikr I was bouncing 😂😂😂
Well done boys, did us proud!
+TheRealWelshCJ i agree
Despite we still lack the mental ability to beat SH teams. I'm still very proud of them. Not many teams can lose roughly 10 first team players and beat the host nations, qualifying from the proof of death and giving SA and AUS every run for their money. Best team in the NH!
+XxWales15xX We didn't lack to beat them, we almost beat them both by a good score, but Wales had to many errors on the pitch. e.g. (4 held up tries against Australia, And Poor defending by "Cuthbert" which lead to the South Africa try, so ye those few points there, cost Wales the Semi finals, maybe even the Finals.
Ethan Yeah true, but it doesn't seem we're the best anymore
It didn't seem that way anyway. I think We need a new Manager, Gatlands time has bin and gone, although hes a good manager.
Ethan tbh I question Howley more than Gatland, as the attacking coach he hasn't done much for us, we butchered overlaps and and smash it up to often
+XxWales15xX Yeah Wales struggle to score tries most games and we really rely on Biggar
My dads Welsh he was very proud
Wales were great ❤️❤️❤️
Watch out for us in Japan 2019!!
Wales Should Have Been In To The Final
adam horton Adam you are absolutely right ,if it wasn't for all there injures ,I ama SCOT BUT I LOVE WALES AS MUCH AS SCOTLAND ,WE WERE ROBBED BY THAT S.AFRIKAAN REF.

Anyone know the track used ?
Rugby 💪💪💕
I was there when they stuffed uruguay
Key injuries will keep reminding them of what they could've achieved for Wales, really unfortunate. I would've said they were in with a good chance to beat a poor performing Boks had they all been healthy.
The South African try at 78 mins was scored from an illegal offside position... if our ref wasn't the worst in the world (Wayne Barnes) we would have 100% been in the Semi Final!! Just our bad luck though. :'(
Still not as bad as Craig Joubert's last-minute penalty against Scotland in their quarter-final.
no one can deny that
That moment at 2:16 tho 👌🏻👌🏻🏴
True
What a night that was 😁🏴
Lol and hopefully better nights ahead come world cup jayde ; D

Let's be honest, this was not a 'glorious' world cup for Wales by any standard. Ok we had injuries and beat the old enemy to escape "the group of death". But we were unconvincing throughout. Struggled more than we should have against the group minnows. We were second best, hanging in the game for 60 mins, against England before pulling out a wonder try. Failed to put away Fiji despite having plenty of opportunities to do so, couldn't even score a try against an aussie side even when they were down to 13 and Wales were camped on their 5m line. Furthermore the wallabies were clearly nervous of slipping up against Wales. Finally failed to beat an ageing sa team that had already lost to Japan.
There really wasn't enough scrutiny over wales' campaign because it wasn't that successful and they have failed to kick on since as a result. Every other home nation has taken a good hard look at themselves and emerged the better for it.
Glorious?? They didn't even make the semi. Over hyped and underwhelming.
