@@pathowogen4745 Career wise i use Game Maker Studio 2, but also have basic grasp on C# and Python which i use for personal projects. I personally wouldn't recommend GMS2 since they screwed me over a bit. Unity would be the way to go
I’ve never had a desire for “traditional” RGB gaming keyboards (I never understood the need for the lights), but I’m very tempted to splurge on this. It is, as you yourself said, mesmerizing.
The founders edition, which will be the first drop, should be the only one limited to that specific drop. After that, they will drop the standard edition and keep restocking after that from what I've heard. As a side note, the founders edition is silver with custom Gateron BlackInks, and the standard edition is black with hall-effects switches.

This missed out on advertising a huge selling point - the ability to use the display to showcase the different functionality of given keys. With the right programming and macro capabilities this could be a huge deal for professional workspace productivity, with the ability to switch between a multitude of keybind layers without having to memorize all the different functionalities - the LCD could just actively showcase what given buttons are programmed to do. This is actually a feature that razer implemented in the deathstalker ultimate years ago, I'm shocked it wasn't the first selling point here, and that it hasn't been replicated since. So much potential, but instead it's focused on selling what amounts to keyboard skins.

Damn, future support for hall effect sensors? Gotta say, if it wasn't for the odd 65-70% form-factor and if the software for this would allow as much customization as wooting does, this would probably be an instant overtake of the whole market. I sure hope that development kits for this would be available for the public too.
imo 70% layout is quite superior what did you expect? 100%? Anyways it probably should be open to the public as its all built on Unreal Engine 5 Didnt know the wooting had such complex customization btw, i know the very basics of it

@@sheng505 plus It’ll be hard for Flux keyboard to compete, since Finalmouse somehow managed to achieve a $349 selling price which is insane given what you get (I mean there’s a freaking dedicated CPU in that mechanical keyboard lol). There’s just no way a small company like Flux can match these operation costs and stay competitive with that price

On a side note. I think all this is is a touchscreen with a clear keyboard over it using touch points under each key. They just programed the touch screen to know which part of the screen is under each key

I'd guess they tried it but text was illegible under the plastic, light refracting keys. It doesn't make sense to omit a high value feature/competitive advantage.. Unless it just doesn't work. In fact I'd bet that it was the initial goal until they had to pivot due to being unsuitable. Either that or they are morons, which they're obviously not.
@@paulh2343 this seems the most likely. Would make sense. If they take a little more time they could make keys with lenses that bring the image to the key surface. But then I think it's a different product at that point.
Touch typing also exists, for that vast majority of users that would buy such a keyboard. Plus, looking away from your screen during a game isn't great either.
I desperately need a new GPU and PSU to sort ongoing problems out, but now I have to factor in this to the upgrade/repair shopping list! Absolutely beautiful!
This is by far the best gaming gadget commercial I've seen and the only one for a keyboard that actually looks so amazing. With the music, cinematics, you have done it final mouse.

Dont care about integration. The Circuit Python people would have a small interface box made within 3 months to allow it to work on any computer including the RPi.

Impressive looking product, however I don't think the claim that it will use no computer resources can be accurate if it is polling at 8kHz. The CPU still has to monitor devices that can send inputs that fast, which will eat up CPU cycles.
can i have: -iso&ansi options -layout for different languages. -different size options (80%, 60%, full size etc.) -ability to set a list of skins of unlimited number and shuffle them at selected intervals. 3 preset skins that you can switch with a button is pretty lacking. although if the keyboard will save them on its own storage space, i guess "unlimited" will be bit of a stretch. i can't think of anything else that would limit us to only 3 at a time. -ability to sync with the content viewed on the screen. imagine your wallpaper, game, or movie bleeding down to this. or an audio visualizer. -co-operation with wallpaper engine. though i imagine this one will need work on their side and not just yours. -ability to auto turn on skins (made by game devs) when you launch the related game. again, will need work on their side as well.
-Asking for different layouts on a 1st gen product from a company who hasn't made keyboards before is asking for too much -They do mean 3 skins on the memory profile of the keyboard, and you do have unlimited space on your pc with the steam app -It's all down to 3rd party artists to make it sync to the screen, someone just has to make a skin that does so

-They do mean 3 skins on the memory profile of the keyboard, and you do have unlimited space on your pc with the steam app
-It's all down to 3rd party artists to make it sync to the screen, someone just has to make a skin that does so
