I am an Infinia holder for 3 years and I have seen the golden time in terms of the returns, so I can totally agree with your assessment. For flights, please also account for the fact not only 10x came down to 5x, the platform also introduced convenience fees which eroded the benefit even further. A 299 fee on a domestic flight for one person, meant you would burn points earned for 9000 rupees of normal spends. They disguised under partner convenience fee which I think is not entirely true. Hi, I have received an offer to upgrade to Infinia for 1st year free and 2nd year onwards 12500+gst. So if I pay 12500 from 2nd year onwards do I get reward points worth the same amount?
These devaluations had to happen. It is tough to sustain 33 pc return for long. I use Infinia mostly for Smartbuy or very large purchases. I mostly use Amex cards for normal online purchases, especially gold charge and MRCC.

How much return v get on amex? Only 0.5% no? Infinia v get atleast 3.3%, right? I didn't understand the maths.
@@bindir1421 No, when you take into account the bonus points that you get on Amex gold and reward cards and redeem those points on the gold collection, your reward rate may easily go higher than 5-6 per cent or even more. Otherwise why will anyone use Amex ? Moreover, Amex gives points on wallet upload, utility and fuel payments (charge cards only). On gold you get 1000 bonus points on spending ₹ 1000 6 times in a calendar month, in rewards card you get 1000 points on spending ₹ 1500 4 times a month and another 1000 points on spending ₹ 20,000 a month.

I would be happy if my dcb gets upgraded to infinia but bank doesn't want to.. I made 2 lakhs plus points in 3 years and I am thankful for that. But currently dcb is useless card because no matter what I try I am able to make only 1500 points per month and fee is 12k
Hello can you please explain if there is anti theft purchase protection for smart phones or all other electroncis gadgets on infinia credit card because any entry lavel credit cards has such benefits but infinia ℹ could not find

I'm using axis Flipkart card for an year and want to upgrade this card to better axis card. How can I do that, I'm not getting option in app.
Axis Flipkart is no 1 card for daily use ..Keep it and apply separately for another card

You will not get never option, bcuz flipkart card is a cashback card while rest cards are points based...you need too call customer care and ask them for any pre approved offers...they will probably pitch u privilege card....get it...pay the 1800 fees and u will get 5000rs voucher..good deal i would say

But I’ve a question, as you said that your team member got Infinia card by filling out form based on previous card history(existing credit card limit should be more than 8L and last 6 months spends should be more than 7.5L), I would like to know,
1. which card did he have previously ?
2. What was the limit ?
3. What was the monthly spend ?
4. While applying for Infinia, did they issue Infinia card based on just previous spends ? Or did they also ask for income proof ?
I’m asking this because I also want to get Infinia card, currently I’ve Regalia.
1. Previous card - Diners Club Black
2. Limit was 6 lakh before it was increased to > 8 lakh
3. Monthly spend was in the range of 1.2-1.5L
4. Payslips and bank account statement were submitted with upgrade form. But this should not matter if you meet the limit and spend criteria.

I have Business money back CC and i want to upgrade it so kindly let me know how can I upgrade and in case bank is ready then which card i should apply Diners or Regalia or Millenia or any other?? Obviously they won't offer infinia at this stage.

Regarding lounge access, many airport lounges do not accept HDFC cards. Only T3 Delhi airport accepts HDFC Cards.
Even in Chandigarh HDFC is not accepted
Not sure about Chandigarh. But we have no problem with lounge access in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune.
@@CardAcademy I have problems with HDFC visa Infinia card sometimes. There my Yes First Exclusive MasterCard comes in handy.
@@amitabhmaheshwari you can use priority pass even in India.. I have DCB and since I am from metro region I had no issues.. Just make use of priority pass

Visa infinite is better than Mastercard. You get free lounges, discounts on movie tickets, etc on visa infinite.

What is best Premium CC available in the market right now and why? Other than infinia or Diners black?
Axis Magnus if monthly spends > 1 lakh. It can give more than 10-12% return easily if points are converted into miles.

Ideally you should route all the spends that you can route through Smartbuy. And also use instant vouchers for purchases.
