The bomb has poison in it and once it exploded, the poison will be release in the surrounding area. The reason why they are also affected is because they've gone to the affected area to rescue the king and even though they weren't gone to the location of the explosion, they will still be infected if they are close to the king cause the infected release more poison until they die.
I thought the explanation of poison rose bomb waa pretty clear to infer that netero's bomb was also poisonous, and youpi ans pouf were also affected because they were literally at the bomb site with meruem😂😂
(if that was the case..) the Queen would've died during those moments.. when she ate that poisoned human, and it would've atleast showed the after effects of that poison, probably before giving birth to the King.. 😅
I love when Meruem spares Welfin 😭 he can literally feel the hatred but literally all he cares about is komugi. He recognizes where welfin is coming from, and even pouf despite how aggressive he’s being. It shows how rapidly his mind progresses and I love how much he’s evolved at this point!!
I don't even like Welfin, his personality ( even though I find some of it relatable ), but the emotions I feel when he remembers his past and his hatred toward the ants are surprisingly strong I really like him as a character he's truly a wild card, such an unexpected development....
I will never understand how anyone could not see whats killing them. It’s so unbelievably obvious that most people understand exactly what’s happening the moment the first nosebleed occurs.
I was actually expecting them to be dying from the radiation when I watched for the first time, except they were not dying and I started to doubt myself, but then the first nosebleed confirmed it for me.

Palm saw Meruem, Youpi, Pouf coughing up blood after returning from battle with Netero. Netero used the Rose to poison Meruem and the vicinity.
Welfin knew Komugi because Pouf had Welifin lie to Pitou about having recovered Komugi from the humans.
