My Clarinet is a Boosey & Hawkes London Regent that I bought in 1973, just had it reconditioned with new corks and pads. Goes beautifully but it may be time to buy a New one?

Glad I'm not the only one that went fro Buffet to Yamaha!! Definitely prefer the sound from the Yamaha.

for your information there many countries in the world where there are no shops with the opportunity to try clarinets.

I live in the US and there are no shops anywhere near or far from me to try clarinets. Maybe to try just one..and a student model at that. I am currently on a Buffet Festival from the 1990s.

C&F, a puzzling observation; a clarinet shop without a single range of German or Austrian Bb clarinets, is at the same level of weirdness as having a saxophone shop without a single range of French saxophones. But you have a range of clarinets from the Far East.

Because such are played only in Germany and Austria. Can’t you figure it yourself 😅
