husband speaking age 81.8 Nice to see a cemetery actually put up signs or markers to a famous grave. In Seattle where Bruce Lee and his son are buried, side by side, there are no markers of any kind. It took me two visits to actually find the spot. Unless a person was really famous, I don't think their lives mean anything to folks today. We can not understand what they went through, the hardships of the time compared to the easy life we have today. Our own son, now age 39, ( he can't be that old, he was just in school ) can not comprehend my first TV, 6" screen, black & white shows, on only 4 hours a day. His 1st tv was at least 24" and in color.
Been over Pacheco pass many time in a produce semi 3-4 years ago. Being from Colorado, I was quite surprised to see signs warning of elk in the area. The struggles of the pioneers traveling west is just unimaginable. We’ve been to the Oregon trail museum in Baker City Oregon. Those were tough times ! Thanks to this channel, I was able to visit John Steinbeck’s grave in Salinas during my year of running west. Just down Abbott street is a Japanese cemetery, I was alway curious about. No grass, just gravel & stone. Very immaculate.
Thanks for bringing us along Jeff and Sarah. So glad this heat spell we've had these past few weeks is dissipating. I find your cemetery tours very historical and informational. Thanks for another great video! See you next Sunday!
Charlie reminds me of Clamity Jane. I really liked that headstone with the persons face such attention to detail. There’s a little church in Dublin in the Bay Area that has a little cemetery attached to it you might find interesting. So much History everywhere. Thanks Jeff and Sarah!
I was struck by grave of the man who shot himself in the head because of a business loss. What a sad story - so sobering, and so final. His headstone now fallen over. For anyone dealing with suicidal thoughts, help is available.
Yes, very tragic to pick a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Help is always available. Thanks for sharing your sentiments. I, too, always find it tragic when someone does that to themselves!

First of all love your channel. My bad I thought I was subscribed already and wasn’t. So I am now. I just started working in Watsonville a year ago and always wondered about history of people in Pioneer Cemetary. I would like to encourage you to continue doing what you do. Johnny Mercer is buried in the famous Bonaventure cemetery in Savanah, he was a song writer and has a big grave site with music notes. There are alot of strange head stones from the 1800's. We go there at the end of each year and spend new year's there so if your looking to get away for the new year i can hook y'all up in the best bed and breakfast. 😊Thanks for sharing safe travels.

July 12 would have been a good day to leave the Central Valley and head for Santa Cruz. Thanks for stopping on the way to show us this cemetery. Looking forward to some information about SC, maybe the concrete ship grounded on the beach at, I think, Aptos.
Nor. Cal. has so much history in their graveyards. All those Gold Rush people who we know of their hardships and successes and many more who maybe even had worse hardships but we don't know about them. Thanks for the tour and the research.
Good stories. Thank you.
Hello Jeff and Sarah. I love your channel.
About subscriptions….other channels that I subscribe to find the same data-many viewers that are listed as “not subscribed.” As it turns out, YT appears to “unsubscribe” viewers of channels that have conservative content. I have had to resubscribe to another YT channel several times. The other channel’s host reminds the viewers to monitor their subscription status.
