I absolutely love these figures and the fact that these are being made in 2023! I love mixing them in my classic Super Powers display, I know that may be blasphemous to some but I feel like a kid all over again when I find these on shelves. Glad the "great clearance purge" of wave 1 hasn't seemed to slow the momentum of these. I hop McFarlane goes really deep into DC lore - I'd love more Superman villains (regular Lex/Power Suit Lex, Braniac, Cyborg Superman, Eradicator), Flash villains, and some (or better yet, all!) of the Justice Society.
These vehicles are a blast! How is this Batmobile so cool. The Invisible jet is slick. Nightwing flying the Bat Wing while Batman and Robin attend in the Bat Mobile is cool. Fun stuff.
Robin is Burt Ward and only him! I didn't know there was another one! I still will pick one up. But, it's depressing that they didn't make the original Robin to go with the original style or original super friends Batman I mean!
I totally agree. The line is getting much better. Once they dial in the heights, it will be my favorite line. I passed on the Batmobile because I have the original super powers version and space is a premium. Love the Invisible Jet. And Detective Batman is perfect! Tim Drake I have with my Hush Batman and Nightwing. I still can’t believe this line exists. I am very happy so far. I am bummed about manta, as a Walmart exclusive, I don’t think I will ever find him.
Okay we have figures and vehicles the more the better as far as I'm concerned. Next we need playsets. Hall of Justice and Hall of Doom anyone? By the way I have been haunting our local Walmarts with no success. These were suppose to be out in July and now it is the beginning of August.
100% agree on the Robin cape and accessories. And, that Batman. It’s the Chef’s kiss. I’d like to see them do what they did with that Batman with *everybody* else! I’ve debated about getting Nightwing, but it kinda looks like we need a new version to fit in. I take it they have fixed the pop open cockpit breakage issue that plagued the Batwing? I do hope for more villains. And some other remakes like a classic Firestorm. And a take on the Blue Beetle.
Great Review: ... Yeah, Great Detective Batman...!! In size, scale, ...and sculpt... !! (Thanks, ...whoever @ McFarlane Toys) I hope all future figures scale with him..!! He scales very well with the original SP figures... which is key.!! Love the line.!! You are right: ...more Villains would be nice... more Heroes, too.!! Great potential going forward.... Suggestion: Blue Beetle ... in The Bug..!!?? With The Question, ...Nightshade,.... Captain Atom... The Peacemaker..?? (I would love to see the Golden Age Justice Society of America...and Golden Age Villains...)
@@ToyShiz I think you are misunderstanding my point. I appreciate advance copy reviews. But McFarlane Toys is notorious for sending out exclusives for review that are damn near impossible to find. And I wouldn't even mind that if they didn't always make the popular characters or the most desired version of a character the exclusive. My statement wasn't meant as a judgement toward you at all.
I may still pickup the batmobile on clearance at Walmart since they skipped a few waves here. The Classic Detective Batman is by far my favorite. He goes great with the Kenner Batmobile and the 'Casey Kasem' Robin from the original line. Love the Invisible Jet.
I think if there were a Marvel line at the same scale I’d just give up on articulation and go for this. I don’t know why compatibility between the 2 big superhero companies’ action figures seems like such a low priority.
@@charlesbuchinsky5276 Yeah the Estrella one sounds good, but they need to fix that Batman again to have the blue face. For a line thats supposed to be based on vintage Super Powers they keep messing it up.
Was it my imagination or did I hear Deathstroke's vertebrae snap when Wonder Woman yoinked him up with her winch. That invisible jet is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Great review. Now that I have SP Black Manta in hand I realize that Todd went with the Super Friends Legion of Doom design for him. It makes sense in so much as if he had come out during the original 80’s super powers run that would have been the look they would have gone with
I just started collecting these figures and I’m kinda disappointed at the lack of villains. I really want a Joker, Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn, and Black Adam but I also want some of my favorite heroes like Dr. Fate or Shazam.
Classic Detective Batman is good ... BUT why does he still not have the blue face of the original Super Powers figure?. Is he supposed to be a take on Batman 66 or a take on Batman Kenner Super Powers, i dont think McFarlane can make their minds up. I just want a figure that looks like the original but they keep getting it wrong, 3rd time lucky McFarlane.

Great to see these! BTW - Darkseid also. So three villains, but the point still stands. Would love to see a Joker, Penguin, Braniac, etc.

Will def post if/when he becomes Available online the Walmart app
@@ToyShiz thanks! That will be helpful. My Walmarts are either hit by scalpers or never get the exclusives. Not sure which. lol be well.

We need more villains! When are we going to get Joker, Lex Luthor, The Cheetah, and others to go against our heroes?
Need hawkman and lex luther
I collect the most dc multiverse figures I’d say but I’m really enjoying the new offerings from DC superpowers
I’d love to see more classics villains, or a whole wave detected to villains. Classic Joker, Penguin, Lex Luthor, Sinestro, Riddler would be amazing.

I love when McFarlane gives reviewers toys to review that most of us will never find.
It’s so you can see them first hand, so you get a good idea of what you’re buying.

These are peg warmers.
@@dahhmlife that Black Manta though.. which is arguably the coolest of the wave. Hopefully I'm proven wrong and these are readily available.

Old enough to remember having the figures from the 80's. Not collecting anymore, but this might change my mind. Very cool.
That’s one of the coolest designed Batmobiles in toy form that’s ever been made. And lots easier to get than the ‘89 Batmobile lol
Awesome review. Thank you for sharing. I love all these toys! I can't wait to add them to my collection !!! 😉👍
Thanks for watching!

We need a new playset.
Brilliant video 😄👍
Just let me know when they shall come out???
They’re out
I'm seriously thinking this is going to be my main McFarlane DC line. There's already a classic Wonder Woman, with a variant.
I'm excited to get the classic Batman. The more I look at this review it's literally the exact body mold from the original Super Powers figure.
Its the same minus the fact it doesnt have the blue face mask of the 80's Batman figure, it has a Batman 66 face mask which IMO ruins it.
@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 Yeah, that face kinda messed it up. More excited for the "Estrella" black suit version.

Hi ToyShiz, another great video to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Still waiting on that Black Manta😢..
Love how you played into the Invisible Jet. Hahaha! 👍👍
Very good and how much súper Powers?

He’s dead now😂

I love that Tim drake robin looks like Jack black
If Jack black ate nothing but fruit and veggies…like peaches… 🎶

Did you completely forget about Darkseid?
I did, he’s very forgettable
I was just going to say that lol
@@DeWayne1998😂
@@CoolCATs2814 I know he was from the first wave but Shiz said Deathstroke and Batman who laughs were the only villains
Awesome video keep up the good work!
Great unboxing 💪🤓
Thanks for watching
Great video. Of the vilains they released, does one of them fit in the cage of superman's vehicle?
Will have to see with Robin as he’s technically the smallest of the line now.
Like this batman cape better
Green Lantern is a peg warmer he’s everywhere no Batman or Robin anywhere
Not going to lie, I was collecting this line just to keep MOC. But these two new vehicles made me open them all lol.
Yeah the vehicles make these figures that’s for sure!

Wait why no shot of Hush Batman in the Batmobile?
Watch again
The only one of all this line that is the best is the Batman retro and the Batmobile. The other figures look awful
What about darkseid ? lol
#3 to ask this
Does 6inch figures fit in?
I don't mean to throw any shade. Just frustrated with McFarlane Toys tactics
You don’t mean to, yet here you are…

Darkseid!
Can we please stop making the villains exclusives please
Forget these we need a 7" fully articulated line of these , these are to stiff for me.
i believe there also a Darkseid
Darkside was in the first wave did you forget about him?
What? No Darkseid?
