How long did it take your copperband to start eating aipastia after adding it? I added one about 2 weeks ago, my tank is overrun with aiptasia. The copperband is feeding on Clam right now in the morning, but hasn't developed an interest in aiptasia yet.

Took 2 weeks just give him time and if your fish is not eating aiptasia just wait and continue to feed with clam , he will start to eat aiptasia just give him time
