- From the seventh to the twenty-sixth day of the eleventh lunar month each year, the Wu Gong Heitang Ancient Fair is grandly held on the banks of the Qishui River in Wu Gong Town. Hou Ji once explained agricultural production knowledge to the ancestors in Wu Gong Town, initiating a barter market. It is like a living history book, attracting people from all directions to come and is one of the most influential traditional ancient fairs in the Guanzhong region.
A common saying among the people of Wu Gong, "If there's something to buy, there's something to sell," reflects the vibrant scene on the riverbank where temporary stalls are set up for miles, offering a wide variety of goods.
The bustling Wu Gong Town Heitang Ancient Fair, filled with throngs of people, also concentrates many characteristic snacks from the Guanzhong region, gathering the flavors remembered in Shaanxi's Guanzhong, allowing visitors to indulge in a feast of tastes.
