Tricking NPCs to do Big Boi Pulls in FFXIV Trusts

- Running ShB Trusts on DPS and manipulating the NPCs to make them go faster with bigger pulls. The Trust functionality is pretty clunky but if this goes right it can be faster than waiting in leveling queues as DPS.
I've been playing FFXIV ever since RO announced their service suspension in October. Haven't looked back.

Ah, would Ryne not be enough dps? I know Thancred needs her in the party for the cartridge based abilities
It doesnt really matter who you take but the exarch is a much better tank in my experience once you get him. You will be doing the vast majority of the damage
I do the same thing lul, it does work quite well. Got some of my jobs from 72 to 80 in 2 days. I'm too spooked to tank/heal with strangers in duty finder, so i just do them with trusts.
my bots stand around and die and then we wipe if i pull too much lol
how do you get the trust companions dmg showing in ACT?
Hmm, I'm not sure. I don't think I did anything special other than the basic setup. Just searched for an installation guide on youtube. But I'm no ACT expert unfortunately...
Did you like train your trust to do this or like do they get smarter over time?
Nah, you just gotta force the tank's AI to react to the fact that you have aggro and come get it. It can be awkward because sometimes weird things happen when you get too far from the team, but if you can grab another pack of mobs successfully it saves a lot of time.
What dps meter is it?

Also keep in mind it is taboo to comment on people's specific DPS ingame (ACT is a 3PP). It is a tool for your own improvement.
