But, sad to say, most of us modern Filipinos didn't take much interest in practicing with bow & arrow, even if it's easy to make. While our ancestors hunted & fought with one. How ironic of us.
What is the use of bow and arrow when you're working in the city? Majority of Filipinos don't have time to play with arrows because they'd rather focus on work that gives them money.
Aetas in Cagayan used the palm tree to make bow. It is much stronger than the bow made of bamboo. They used the tall grass (runo) to make arrows. Excellent for wild boar hunting and for weapon.
Wow nice ..I watched this video I'm so happy to see my APO Miguel :) I like this video. .BTW I'm Mary rose Garcia actually I know this guy he's my Apo or my 3rd grandfather
Yoyos are the best bird hunting weapons made by Filipinos. Archery in the philippines is kind of rare now a days but yoyos are forever. I make bows on occasion though
Wrong. Yo-yos are dated way back to Greek civilization. The modern yo-yo was simply perfected by a Filipino named Pedro Flores. It was never used as a weapon.
@@LuciferLizardo I said the best weapon made for hunting birds and (monkeys kind of think of it) by the filipinos were yoyos, not that we were the first to make yoyos as the first one was made in 430-500 bc in Greece. as I said archery in filipino culture took a backseat due to the anti-deadly pana law.
Im searching for this for so long thank you sir
