The Call to the Permanent Diaconate

With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, 11 men will be ordained as Permanent Deacons by Archbishop Gomez. As we prepare for the ordination, we invite you to watch this short #LAcatholics video about the calling of one of our deacons, ordained in 1979.
This year's ordination will take place on Saturday, August 22nd at 9 AM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The Ordination Mass will require tickets for all guests.
