- This is the recording of a Free Webinar from Leica Akademie Australia in which Akademie Instructor Nick Rains discusses some of his favourite places around Australia and gives very general tips on how to shoot those kinds of mostly landscape images. It's a very casual talk, with plenty of questions from the guests and it was intended for beginners as well as moderately experienced photographers.

I love your videos Nick and enjoy very much your photographies, you are a great photographer. And what I love most is the way you show us your country, Australia is indeed beautiful. I'm from Uruguay - South America (Montevideo), but is recently that I've started to shoot landscapes, always did a testimonial kind of photgraphy and portraits, love the human expressions. Thanks for all you share, especially your experiencies. I intend to follow you through your work (sorry for my english)
Enjoyable vid.
Thanks for all the great videos you have posted over the last year! Happy holiday season!

Same to you

Happy holidays!
Beautiful images, well done!
Many thanks!
Nice one, Nick - sorry I missed it live. I don't put UV filters on my lenses - the lens hood gives quite a lot of protection itself, and I don't see the point of buying great glass and then shooting though a lesser-quality filter.
Yes, I agree. Just take care!
