Hands down the best car on the road. The interior is absolutly unparalleled, the exterior and the design overall is magnificent, the build quality top notch, the tech is one of the best, safety and almost everything is on a different league.Just jaw dropping!
A friend of mine has just bought one of these cars and I had a chance to sit in it (not ride yet). As you said Guido, this is absolutely the best interior I have ever seen. The quality is second to none. it is just beautiful. He closed the doors and you hear nothing outside. Just a beautiful car. I can't wait to go for a ride and experience the ride control.
ian7675 I said the same thing although I believe this is light years ahead of it lol. but I always thought the 6 series coupe was it's competition but somebody said no it never was. they went on to say the 6 series was in comp with the Mercedes CL coupe which I believe they don't make anymore. they said BMW was building something called the 9 series coupe which will join the s class coupe & the Bentley GT. they also said BMW is skipping the name 8 series because of the awful sells of the old 8 series. so that's why they are gonna call it 9 series.
+tee duke interesting, I hope it's true. I also wish they would make a rival for the R8 too that wasn't a hybrid but just an all out petrol V10. And also an estate M3 to rival the RS4 too...
Almost 5 years later and I still agree with your comment that BMW and Audi haven't kept up with what Mercedes' designers are doing, this is a dream car!
Awesome review Guido! I really love these new S-Class Coupes too, such a striking design inside and out and it's great to hear that the performance doesn't disappoint either. To me, this is my dream car for a daily driver. Hope to get a chance to review one someday! Excited for your Bentley review too! Keep up the great work Guido and congrats on all the epic cars you've been getting recently!
+subaruwrxfan Thanks Matt ! I wish you the best of luck with the S Coupe review, maybe focus even more on the things that really interest luxury buyers and not the general audience, when you review expensive cars and I'm sure you will get to review one :)
ian7675 Mercedes-Benz offer a guarantee on depreciation if you are purchasing another vehicle off them thats the deal i have with them currently depending on country as I'm based in Uk
It's the same with BMW, they give a guaranteed future value. They claim 9 times out of 10 that the value of the car will actually exceed their estimate but I'll find out next year if that was sales talk. If Mercedes keep increasing their quality like this then I may have to have a look at what's on offer after my current car. (Also in UK).
ian7675 Got you, seems we have the same taste as I've just turned in the Bmw. I will say this the service with Mercedes-Benz is unmatched. Good luck with your future purchase.
BMW also knows the S-class is still the daddy, that's why they introduce stuff like gesture control because it's a cool gimmick. Mercedes did it again, the best car in the world.
+wtfdididolastnight Yupp, you are right. The new 7 looks stunning technology wise, but I don't like their design since the late E38. Not elegant anymore for my taste
I've driven the S63 coupe and loved every second of it. The technology level is breathtaking and so capable, the interior is gorgeous, those big LCD screens work brilliantly, the dynamic seats are my favourite part though. Mercedes hit a home run with this car, if you have the money there is no excuse not to have one.
Well 7 years later I bought one. Still in excellent shape and the design language continues with the new C class into 2024. So it may be 8 years old but its good looks remain fresh. Oh!! and it is delicious to drive.
Breathtaking coupe. The new Mercedes language has really got me aboard and a fan. They look very exciting and the presence in their respective segments are second to none currently, and this is coming from a long time BMW owner.
How on earth is it possible that this video and all a lot of your other videos have a low amount of views? I mean the quality of your videos is just astonishingly high, and there's so much dedication in them!
Your videos are now top notch. Great review. Well done. I'm a bit old school, so I have not warmed up to too much tech, but what a great car the coupe is. Nice work, once again.
on this segment no one beat Mercedes Benz. i had C140, C215 and 216 and it was simple the best rides i had. on w222 only had S350d, maybe i have to arrange one S500 to try. thanks for nice review.
I saw a S63 AMG Coupe a few weeks back and its hard to describe the street presence it has... people's heads were turning as it drove past. Great Review as always... In Australia we don't use winter tyres... what effect does it have on the performance of cars in general?
Absolute stunner inside and out! Dream car! And it even sounds great :) That really surprised me. Thanks for the amazing review, great job Guido! I'm really curios to see your feedback on the Bentley. Even though these cars are not quite in the same league, the Bentley only has the prestige advantage. Technology wise the S is years ahead. Where I work, someone has the lastest CL65, the one with the Nissan rear end. I really feel sorry for him. Great car for sure but the S Coupe is just in a different league.
+slaWterCH You are very welcome, buddy ! You might want to drive one, I would love to hear your thoughts :) My island friend has gone from a dark green CL to a black S with AMG trim and wheels, which looked stunning :)
Very nice review as usual :)I hope you do a review on the S65 AMG Coupe. That would be good to test it's comfort settings against its supercar agility and performance too...Great as always Guido...
+Shiva Arun BACHOON Thanks Shiva ! Those are super rare press cars and I think you can already find a very good video from EVO on the S65 Coupe being tested on track :) Greetings from germany, Guido
From NYC. Great video again! Question regarding this coupe, but first let me say I rank you equally with Chris Harris, Matt Farah, Carlos Lago. Question: the B pillar on a four door is 7.5 inches/185 mm. It creates a blind spot that can hide a mini Cooper or motorcycle or people in a parking lot. Did the coupe give you a noticeable sense of your surroundings versus four-door with pillar? Example: When I drive a convertible with the top down I have full peripheral vision and no blind spots.
Excellent video of my personal favourite Mercedes. Something tells me you like this car almost as much as I do! :-)) You mentioned you were on an island, which one.. Föhr ? Curiously, every " new " s500 coupe listed on every website I've checked, still have the 7 g tronic gearbox.
I thought I recognised the island, I worked there several years ago. Regarding the gear box. Most, if not all the S500's I see advertised on-line still have the 7g-tronic and yet are advertised as " new". I suppose they could be new but not the most recent. The latest S500 coupe ( since summer 2015 ) now have the 9g-tronic box.
I have a 2008 CL550 AMG. (They changed it to S 550 at some point) and it is the most dramatic looking, great driving car I’ve ever owned. There is just something different about these big coups. For my money I think your much better off sticking with the regular engine and adding the AMG styling package, but that’s just me. It’s still incredibly powerful and quick for such a big heavy car.. you can blast down the highway for 250 miles and be fresh as if you had just gone around the block.. great machine and will spoil you because nothing else compares.
Guido you need to consider buying new quad-copter DJI Phantom 4 with "follow me" function. Its easier to record exterior shots (Nick Murray reviewed that equipment). Otherwise, your reviews are getting better and better!
Hey Guido, so i conclude: the smaller Burmeister Soundsystem is not loud enough and the biturbo v8 has not enough power after passing 200km/h? i'm not sure if too many of your viewers would agree to that. for me, keeping in mind this is not and amg model, it's still ridiculously fast, which is underlined by the extraordinary low interiornoise even at full speed. furthermore i think you didn't get that in curve setting the car leans into the corner up to an angle of 2,65°. you can see it in the video comparison you made. the system was premiered in the s coupe and is now available in the facelifted sl as well. aside from that you didn't show how fast the new 9g ironic is in manual up- or downshifts, since that was something you often criticized about mercedes cars. also you should have given an impression of the car at night. maybe you covered some features in your c-class review, im not sure. but the the adaptive high beam led headlights and the ambient lighting definitely stand out. i hoped you would lose a word on the air balance system, if you even noticed it. apart from that im happy you liked the car, which for me as well is the best car you can buy these days. great work as always, not sure how many days you had the car to film, but i would enjoy if your reviews were even longer than 10 minutes. greetings from stuttgart!
+Jaegermeister4 Thank you very much for the comment and feedback ! I was in abit of a rush filming this, so apologies for that. I did feel like the transmission had to kick down a few gears and needed a moment to get the car up and going from 200 to the 240 limiter and you do notice that as a lack of speed when a 5series diesel let's you pass at that speed and you take a moment longer than expected to pass...I didn't want to show any autobahn footage, that Tesla review was a lesson in that respect given the comments ;)...You will have to take my word for it. The 5,5liter V8 AMG engine is better suited to this car and the high weight to make it really perfect...The 9G is a transmisson always finds the best gear by itself. It is responive, but with 9 gears shifting manually is something you rarely find yourself doing, because the electronics just do a better job. After all this car is not a sportscar by any means. It does a fine job in automatic, I hardly ever shifted myself. But when I did, I liked it better than the 7speed AMG transmisson in the SL63. It's definetly more responsive...I tried filming some night footage but it didn't come out very well and there's plenty of footage of it on UA-cam already...I can't say much more than that, anything I didn't mention, means that I either loved it or didn't notice it as another sign of perfection :) I hope my long respone makes up for missing a few topics. Journalism for me is all about finding key elements that excite you or sharing your opinon about certain things. I don't film commercials after all :) - Regards, Guido
Thank you for testing the S500 coupe. I had a couple of questions as I am in market. May I ask your height? It appears that you are tall. I only ask because I am 6 foot 6 and wonder about comfort ability and leg room. You drove 500 miles according to your review; how was the ride with respect to your height? Is it as much roomy in front as S Class 4 door? How was getting in and out of car? Passenger seat just as comfortable for a tall person making a long (500 mile) trip? Any helpful tip information will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. I found your review to be very detailed and helpful!!!!
Hey Joseph, Im 6'4 and felt very comfortable. The seats are the best. Im very sure you would like sitting in the car. It has plenty of room for us tall people. Let me know when you tryed one!
Fantastic review. Car is a masterpiece, but as with Rolls-Royce's, I would never spend so much money on such a car. I'd rather get something really fast and fun. This is also probably because of my age but I'd have an M4 Competition Package over this. They are totally different beasts, they have little in common but I'm just saying if I had the money... Keep up the good work, love the quality of your vids, they're getting better and better.
+Tuddec You have to experience one of these, before you judge it. I'm very much a sportscar person myself as you know from other videos, but on a long drive and experiencing the features and comfort of this S-Class, is just as attractive for me as a petrolhead as a fun drive in a proper sportscar :)
the S and CL class has been my favorite Mercedes Benz, even when these classes was the SEC series back in the 80s these cars have always been above anything made that this class competes with, even Bentley.
+Elizabeth Cherry I am testing a Bentley GT right now and technically it stands zero chance against this Mercedes. But it has other charmes I will talk you through very soon in a review ;) SLC from the late 70s is another beauty btw and think of the old SE from the 60s, omg :D
Can you guys do a review of the most recent Acura NSX? If not that then is like to suggest the Jaguar xf or F-type ? Great video and thanks in advance !
+Jack C Thanks ! Oh yes, it so nice, you have 6 different ones, two with heating to simulate a hot stone massage, active workout, with different intensity settings. These seats are the best out there
Well I had NOT seen this clip but now I have . I have also driven a S63 AMG but only for 10 minutes. When there is you and 4 other people mauling a car you don't see the finer pieces of that car. Nor do I think that the S63 is a massive improvement over the S500. I am ever closer to my decision - I am 73 - I need to make that choice a 2013 V8 Bentley or a similar price 2015 (?) S 500 coupe. I do like your reviews because they bring out the colour of bits of a car that I look for and it is not a sales pitch - it is an opinion. I kind of get the impression that here we have someone who (Getawayer) would be as happy in a S500 coupe as a V8 Bentley? (if you feel like answering)
Thanks George ! The Bentley is closer to my heart, I think. There's a great test vs the new DB11 in the latest EVO mag where Nick Trott finds a few rather perfect words for the Conti. I suggest you read it :) - Guido
+ian7675 The Bentley feels much older inside, has very heavy feeling controls, nice built quality but also a few cheaper plastics. For me the Benz feels abit nicer honestly and it has waaaaaay more features :)
+TheGetawayer 1-0 to Germany then :( Mercedes are really pushing the boundaries of quality in recent years, I might be tempted to move across from BMW...but probably not.
+ian7675 My next car won't be another BMW. I think they need to work on their interior quality. Audi is too boring for my taste and clinical. I'm really turning into a Merc fan. If somebody would have told me that when I was 18, hahah :D: D
yea that's why I love America, even if you drive a rolls Royce people are not gonna come near at a gas station but they will still look at u, not all but some, and if u drive the s class coupe, most people wont even look at you, that's important if u don't like talking to strangers
Much more advanced as far as technology goes. Ive also driven the latest versions of both cars. The Bentley feels more special and nicer at high speed than the S63 but still I prefer the Mercs interior
The upcoming E class coupe will be very similar to this in the body shape, the interior is already the same. It will come with smaller engines and half the price.
Beautiful car, absolutely stunning. But I have to say the Rolls-Royce Wraith would take the title as "best in the world" when in direct competition with the S couple...
Geefiasco Oh come on, I want to hear the thoughts of my audience :) Why would I share mine, when I don't get to hear yours ? :D testing a Bentley GT right now, if you care ;)
+TheGetawayer No, I don't really care for the Bentley. My thoughts on the Wraith are that it is rather splendid - that’s the best way to describe it. Travelling in it broadens the mind. And none of your short hops, either - it's a car to drive a very long way. A couple of months back, I drove one to Birmingham and then back to London, a 300 mile round trip on a Saturday morning. It was perfect, I drove it bare foot too, lambswool rubbing the soles of my feet is a tremendous feeling. It's a magnificent car, the intelligence of the technology is the best I have come across. The quality of the drive is an experience one will never forget, the silence in the cabin, the power the engine possesses, the handling - I could go on... I'm yet to drive the S-Class, so maybe my initial opinion was slightly biased, however I do own a 2014 E63 AMG. It's not as if I'm anti-Mercedes, I adore them. I've been lucky enough to drive a few Rolls-Royce's in my time and they are simply stunning. I strongly believe no manufacturer builds a car better than Rolls-Royce, they are the diamond standard. If I had £300K laying around I'd have the new Black Badge edition with blue interior - yummy. But my heart would rather a glorious 991.2 Turbo S with £150K to spare (irrelevant, I know, but I'm just typing out loud). Apologies if this wasn't as in-depth as you'd probably like, but I'm not familiar with writing car reviews, let alone in the comment section on UA-cam.
+P Joseph I think the ride quality and how innovative Mercedes is as far as technologies go, is truely impressive. You can appreciate that even as a younger driver ;)
+Zed Tee Ther are professional car cleaning companies who do the job for you if you give them the car for the job. Once i was wearing a brand new jeans in the summer and sweat a lot at high temperatures and the blue colour of the jeans could be later seen as shadow on the beige leather of my car. But the professional car cleaner could also solve this extrem problem.
I was just thinking... when will Guido finally throw some meat at us again...... when... here we go... S Class 500 coup review. I know these Porsche Muppets treat you like..sh...(hope you will review the 911 R) I am a huge Merc. Fan and my first car was a 560 SEC. I am very attached to the grand coupes of Mercedes as a reference. This new S Class coup is without a doubt technically a master piece. However I struggle with the looks. The waistline is too high. Inside you have the feeling to be in a Bunker. From the back it is very bulky. I think they tried to pull a DB9 but failed. From the front it looks like a CLA wit those angry power domes. And the hood looks like someone cut it out. Maybe the design will grow on me. But the 560 SEC in my opinion has still much more presence and elegance. Even the predecessor was much more elegant. It was no coincidence that it was THE car to have in the 80's in terms of prestige. Just recently a 560 AMG 6.0 was sold for USD 140k at RM Auction. Mercedes has essentially very much dented its legacy with the new SL's and I doubt they will do it with the coupe. too. Anyway just my thoughts. Keep up the good work Guido.
+AndreasLawson Yupp, the transmission had to kick down a few gears and needed a moment to get the car up and going from 200 to the 240 limiter and you do notice that as a lack of speed when a 5series diesel let's you pass at that speed and you take a moment longer than expected to pass
I have that motor in my SL550. Have yet to test it at 200kph here in Texas. Wish the motor was louder and growled more in my car. Meine Mama besuchte die Insel Ruegen als Kind; aehnlich?
+AndreasLawson the engine is much more impressive in the SL or the CLS that tested. They feel like lighter cars ( guess they are ) and I think sound of the 500 is great too. I've been to Rügen and Usedom many times and even lived nearby for two years. Foehr is in the North Sea though and which gives you tides:)
www.autoblog.com/2016/04/08/ford-mustang-germany-audi-porsche-sales-news/ you need to review the best selling sports car in Germany. Haha I'm curious to hear what you think of it. btw I bought the convertible version ecoboost last summer. love it drove it two weeks cross country coast to coast.
TheGetawayer well what about interior materials and trim options. The Mercedes has like 5 options while bentley has about 35... It's not very customizable.
It’s so pretty and elegant with the winter wheels! You can never go wrong with those alloys ! The best rims Mercedes has ever made ❤💯
Indeed a great look😁

My first Mercedes. Wow this car is amazing!!!! The most impressive car I have ever driven.
Although I am a BMW man I have to admit that this is really nice, Mercedes really know how to build a luxury car.
Same here.
+ian7675 isn't BMW building something to battle this Mercedes?
+tee duke I don't know Tee, I certainly am not aware of anything but I definitely hope so. Wouldn't an updated M6 be a rival for this?
ian7675 I said the same thing although I believe this is light years ahead of it lol. but I always thought the 6 series coupe was it's competition but somebody said no it never was. they went on to say the 6 series was in comp with the Mercedes CL coupe which I believe they don't make anymore. they said BMW was building something called the 9 series coupe which will join the s class coupe & the Bentley GT. they also said BMW is skipping the name 8 series because of the awful sells of the old 8 series. so that's why they are gonna call it 9 series.

One of my favourite cars and definitely on my bucket list to buy.
Now we're talking! I actually saved this review in my favourites as this is my next purchase. You done a perfect job in this review. Stunning car.
I would Definitely get it on a leasing deal if available as I wouldn't want to be too out of pocket with depreciation
Surely the lease will take depreciation into consideration?
ian7675 Mercedes-Benz offer a guarantee on depreciation if you are purchasing another vehicle off them thats the deal i have with them currently depending on country as I'm based in Uk

There's something really cool about big, powerful, two doors Mercedes!
Great review Guido
+Devis Bétrisey Thanks Devis ! Yes, they are special and have always been I think :)
Mercedes design has greatley improved, interior quality is top level. Definitely on my wishlist.

Fantastic review as usual Guido, thanks man.
I want to have this car soon .
Thank you guys, I like your opinions.
Another great review. Thanks.
I quite enjoyed watching that. Thanks for the review Guido.
+stoneeh Glad to hear that, thanks for watching, buddy !
Nice review 👍
Awesome review! Great job!! Rock on brother...
+Michael Meltzer Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Michael !
stunning car.. just doing my build and price order to spec now....same as the one in your video.....
love this review, great job. i love all of your videos
+William D. Thanks Wiliam !
Guido, you are a very lucky guy for having the chance to drive probably the best car in the world.
+E39ENTHUSIAST90 Thank you ! I truely enjoyed it !
+Cars Life Aventador ? Nooooo :D But I would add a Porsche 911 to your list
Beautiful car, personally I'd go for black interior and a sark grey exterior. As always, great video!
+Marius Thanks ! White leather get's dirty really fast. I agre with you
What are your top 3 picks for a luxury high end CAR and luxury high end SUV. Love your work...

For the moment I will stick to my CLK, lol
ps Great review Guido!
ps x2 Im impressed with the fuel consumption!
+KIYOOU Thanks ! The CLK is a very nice car. Always liked the way they looked just like the C and E Class Coupes
Great car and good test. I subscribed.
It's close to perfection. The only thing you need to make it perfect is the name; it needs to be S65 AMG. ;)
+Greg Wallis Tue, but I think Mercedes only has one or two press cars for all journalists worldwide of their 65 models ;)
Absolute stunner inside and out! Dream car! And it even sounds great :) That really surprised me.
Thanks for the amazing review, great job Guido!

Spectacular vehicle! But I am waiting for the C43 Coupe review by you. That is the one I can afford to purchase.
Not my type of car but enjoyed the review nonetheless. For commuting or traveling, this must be the best car in the world.

What do you think about the E class convertible of 2010 ???
Great review!
+Jörg Bochow Thanks !

+TheMister Mann yes i think he once said it, his favorite island is Föhr :) and the s500 has the 9g, the s63 amg got the 7g tronic
Thanks for sharing your experience, Jim!
Anyone know what happened to this channel/Guido? No more updates from him 😥
Best, my next Merc
Guido you need to consider buying new quad-copter DJI Phantom 4 with "follow me" function. Its easier to record exterior shots (Nick Murray reviewed that equipment). Otherwise, your reviews are getting better and better!
+Ma Art Thanks ! Haven't seen Nick's review yet, but that sounds awesome :)
+TheGetawayer Yeah, type in YT "3DR Solo vs DJI Phantom 3 Professional drone review compare". I think it could be very useful for your type of videos.
+Ma Art I'm friends with Nick, will ask him :)
Great review. What about the new peugeot 308GTI. A review is needed. Thank you
Peugeot Germany doesn't support media in english.
Nice presentation. Thanks
You are very welcome👍
Let me know when you tryed one!
yet another fantastic review ! The exterior shots were stunning ! What camera do you use ??
+Mr.Cylinder Head Thanks ! Nothing to special really, just a Canon EOS with a Filter. You can get much much better cameras and quality, trust me ;)
Fantastic review.
+TheGetawayer not judging, I'm sure it's fantastic, but yeah I've never experienced anything like it.
Wow, Love this Mercedes S 500 Coupe, what's the difference between the Mercedes S Coupe and the S 500 Coupe?
the S and CL class has been my favorite Mercedes Benz, even when these classes was the SEC series back in the 80s these cars have always been above anything made that this class competes with, even Bentley.
+Elizabeth Cherry I am testing a Bentley GT right now and technically it stands zero chance against this Mercedes. But it has other charmes I will talk you through very soon in a review ;) SLC from the late 70s is another beauty btw and think of the old SE from the 60s, omg :D
My uncle just purchased one and brought me for a ride in it yesterday :)
Great, hope you enjoyed it ;)
Wow, surprised this guy didn't have a cigarette after this lovefest. Great review even if not totally partial :)
Mercedes S class always has been ahead of its competitors. But this car has so many options that normal user will not gonna use half of them ever.
Can you guys do a review of the most recent Acura NSX? If not that then is like to suggest the Jaguar xf or F-type ?
Great video and thanks in advance !
Excellent review as always Guido.
Have you tried the massage function? I'd like to know something about it
+Jack C Thanks ! Oh yes, it so nice, you have 6 different ones, two with heating to simulate a hot stone massage, active workout, with different intensity settings. These seats are the best out there
+TheGetawayer so nice... Thanks for the answer!
This car costs over usd $450 000 in my country Singapore! But I still want it soo badly!
Tan Ansel you can get one here for 80-120k slightly used
When are you going to do review for Mercedes AMG E63 S 4Matic +?
Have you ever been to the Nurburgring ring?
How does it compare to bentley gt that you driven after?
GeorgeDaymondLush z
Love this car :D
+gianhet Rightfully so :)
I know just what you mean. I have a very low mileage 2008 CL550 and it’s the best car I’ve ever
Driven. Even today it’s a real head turner even here in Beverly Hills.
Is it Diamond Silver?
I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on this against the Bentley with regards to luxury and cabin refinement.
+TheGetawayer How about Porsche?
Traumauto!!!Mehr braucht man nicht.
+Ice Cube111 Stimmt ;)
yea that's why I love America, even if you drive a rolls Royce people are not gonna come near at a gas station but they will still look at u, not all but some, and if u drive the s class coupe, most people wont even look at you, that's important if u don't like talking to strangers
You should visit germany ;)
How would you compare it to a Bentley GT V8 you have tested? Thx
Much more advanced as far as technology goes. Ive also driven the latest versions of both cars. The Bentley feels more special and nicer at high speed than the S63 but still I prefer the Mercs interior
Having one of these and a 911, your all set :-)
+Dag Johnsen Don't forget a G wagon. That would be my dream garage: 911 GT3, G wagen Diesel and maybe one of these for the long drives :D
+TheGetawayer Perfect! Plus a fun small hatch :-)
The upcoming E class coupe will be very similar to this in the body shape,
the interior is already the same. It will come with smaller engines and half the price.
+bonustraka 23 That true ! I think Mercedes does a wonderful job on their coupes. Very classy, elegant and yet sporty
come on guido, where are the porsche updates?!
I haven't heard from them since the Cayenne review
Beautiful car, absolutely stunning. But I have to say the Rolls-Royce Wraith would take the title as "best in the world" when in direct competition with the S couple...
+Geefiasco Explain why, because I haven 't driven a Roller yet :)
+TheGetawayer It would probably be better/quicker to watch a video review of the Wraith rather than me elaborating on my opinion :)
Geefiasco
Oh come on, I want to hear the thoughts of my audience :) Why would I share mine, when I don't get to hear yours ? :D testing a Bentley GT right now, if you care ;)
+TheGetawayer
No, I don't really care for the Bentley.
Apologies if this wasn't as in-depth as you'd probably like, but I'm not familiar with writing car reviews, let alone in the comment section on UA-cam.
the S class look awesome, but I think is the best car in the world. older folks with deep pocket that's the luxury for them.
+P Joseph I think the ride quality and how innovative Mercedes is as far as technologies go, is truely impressive. You can appreciate that even as a younger driver ;)
The music gives me anxiety. Like I'm about to be in a boss fight.
Suits the car pretty well :D
you need to drive a Rolls Royce coupe. I'm curious to hear u compare the two.
+Adam Alistair Well, I have a Bentley GT right now for you guys to film, so there will be some british flavour coming soon ;)
Beautiful looking car! But I'd hate to try to keep that interior so clean.
+Zed Tee Yupp, almost impossible :)
Has Mercedes abandoned the Ocean Drive?
Wind noise at high speeds?
Probably none.
+James May none
None
Is S 500 coupe hybrid soon available ?
+Michel Chen No, only as a V6-8 with petrol. The fuel/exaust economy is to be archied by downsizing and tubo´s.
Ok thanks.
When can we expect the face lift of the coupe. This coupe was first introduced in 2014, right ?
+Michel Chen first model was 2015. Dont expect a facelift before the 2019 model.
+Michel Chen l mean it came out in 2015
Mercedes Benz " The best or nothing ".
The only car i would swap my CLS for,
you should review a Ferrari 458
0:40 adam, adam.
Had to share your comment on facebook, it really made me smile. Thank you ! :)
Runs out of steam north of 200kph?
+AndreasLawson Yupp, the transmission had to kick down a few gears and needed a moment to
get the car up and going from 200 to the 240 limiter and you do notice
that as a lack of speed when a 5series diesel let's you pass at that
speed and you take a moment longer than expected to pass
I have that motor in my SL550. Have yet to test it at 200kph here in Texas. Wish the motor was louder and growled more in my car. Meine Mama besuchte die Insel Ruegen als Kind; aehnlich?
+AndreasLawson the engine is much more impressive in the SL or the CLS that tested. They feel like lighter cars ( guess they are ) and I think sound of the 500 is great too. I've been to Rügen and Usedom many times and even lived nearby for two years. Foehr is in the North Sea though and which gives you tides:)
Oh good! Because I will test it! I drove the McLaren 570S. I was deeply impressed. But I'm not convinced about the rear styling. Have you?
www.autoblog.com/2016/04/08/ford-mustang-germany-audi-porsche-sales-news/ you need to review the best selling sports car in Germany. Haha I'm curious to hear what you think of it. btw I bought the convertible version ecoboost last summer. love it drove it two weeks cross country coast to coast.
He looks like a thinner version of John Cena.
+Isi Akahome Who is that, lol ? :D
WWE wrestler.
Isi Akahome
Oh, haha :D
conti gt speed and db11 are better cars with more comfort and better suspension
Gitonga Mwaniki Disagree. I tested the Conti directly after this S500. Both brits are sportier GTs rather than luxury cruisers like the S Class
TheGetawayer well what about interior materials and trim options. The Mercedes has like 5 options while bentley has about 35... It's not very customizable.
Muito Tp
C216 NA V8 best
Also the cl was a much more elegant car
