I own a full option S500C and I have to correct a few things (for accuracy) there are 46 Swarovski crystals in the the headlights not 47, the 47th one is INSIDE the car on the lid of the cup holder compartment, also the seats automatically push you in the opposite direction to the body roll so the fancy magic body control cornering control is not really needed. Having driven most comparable cars from Astons, Bentleys to Ferraris this is THE best car I have ever driven and owned as it combines pure luxury (and amazing gadgets such as night vision) in an understated stylish coupe with the performance to rival most sports cars. The 0.4 sec faster acceleration you get from the S63 is really not worth it for the money I find. The only thing I may change is to delete the back boxes to get an even more raspy sound but so far I am still very happy with the gorgeous rumbling sound and I drive with the pillarless windows open in the summer just to hear it. PS the double glazed windows keep almost all noise out otherwise.
Hard to know where to start. As a dyed in the wool petrol head. This is motoring Navana. As the driver of a 2016 BMW 530D I know a good car when I see one. And this is simply the best and to see them available for around 32k as a Mercedes warranted used car is simply unbelievable. I must and will have one even for just one final harah to the high end engineering of the internal combustion engine at its zenith. 28 miles to the gallon is staggering and car tax at £390.00 is a wonder to behold. Wish me luck in my quest.
@@jozseftolvaj4876 dear it has been only 5 minutes months with me, and I have another cars, it ran with me around 2000 km so I couldn’t figure out the problems. Sorry
Yes, I have the 2017 Cabrio. I have owned all of the premium cars. This one is the absolute perfect balance between luxury touring and beastly performance. And to Jozef's question below, mine had only 15k miles when I bought it. I've done a few thousand miles since, with nary a rattle. I had the oil changed when I received the car from its previous (and only other) owner. Other than that no work had to be done.
You better read this: The W222 engine is worst engine ever built by Mercedes Benz MY2013 - MY 2016 or 2013 to 2020 S class V 8 “The exhaust valve assembly might not work properly etc. this means you need a new Cylinder head or both! I always notice that too. I am so gentle with mine that it makes a gentle "ahhh" sound when the door begins to engage . This is also a car that lives in blissful ignorance of the existence of rain. But it does get driven!

Timeless design
How this was made in 2014 is still beyond me to this date
I realized this car exists just this year!!! I'm mind blown! How did Mercedes Benz not get this word out not even near enough is beyond me..

I had a 2005 CL500 for 3 years. Absolutely loved it.
Great and thorough review!
Small correction on the number of Swarovski crystals though (see comments earlier)
I do love a big coupe:)
As mentioned, there is no B-Pillar in this coupe. It wasn't mentioned or shown if the rear windows go down like they do on the CL ?
It does go down. Driver has 4 window control
Great video!
Thanks!
The S Class coupe needs to come back.
