Idk why, but I think it would be hilarious if you did a "Why EVERYONE Doesn't play Maplestory" could be a serious setting or just funny video.
As a 275 DS main, I came here to say how great of a class this is, it literally has everything you could want in a class. Your older videos a few years back actually helped me to decide to main it, and I don't regret it in the slightest. Let's just hope that GMS doesn't get an attack speed nerf, as that could make the class feel a lot clunkier (which is why it isn't too popular in KMS)

I feel the same about my buccaneer! I started leveling an avenger recently and it felt quite slow. Maybe I went the wrong route!.. lol cheers!
I love it the skills feel like a dark version of paladin, and I love both of these classes.
I wish Nexon gave him a Transformation. When we do Demon Impact or Judgement we change into that cool demonic beast... What if we just transformed into that? I miss transformations in maple...
Face away from Lotus during chaos lock's teleport to avoid teleporting into the laser so you can save your s.
Facing right = teleports onto the left side of Lotus.
Facing left = teleports onto the right side of Lotus.
Specifically, Chaos Lock always has you facing the enemy it teleports you to, so facing away from the enemy has you teleport behind the enemy. In Lotus in particular it's easiest to think of it as you walk with the lasers and chaos lock when they're vertical. That'll have you facing the right way with plenty of leeway for mistiming. The mechanic though is you always face the enemy after chaos lock and chaos lock will not make you turn around to make that happen. This is relevant for dodging Will tornadoes when you're mispositioned and probably other things that don't immediately come to mind.
Also, copper, demon impact is your off burst bossing attack and is pretty weak. Demon awakening is the class, and you use lash during awakening. Watching you use awakening as a buff for bane and just that was a bit painful to watch.
I also really enjoy the class fantasy of the Demons, the Demon Slayer more so, though I am more of a sword person. The interaction between The Demon and Damien is a really nice touch.
Tbh they could probably make the demons their own branch instead of resistance, could you imagine 4 other demon classes and they all use the aegis or something.
This is actually a pretty cool idea. Imagine a thief, pirate, or mage demon class. Would be pretty interesting! Cheers

As someone who mains demon slayer for almost 4 years now, the class has everything you could ask in a main. Ever since they got the togglable flash jump I've never looked back. Also in savior the demon lash hyper passive is +1 monsters hit, not +1 lines.
Not +1 lines it's was 10% final damage and it was changed to +1 monsters hit and the final damage changed to a passive skill.
I could never enjoy it without a double jump but now am I just learning they finally got one, so I'm going to try them out again haha.
Demon slayer is just so cool as a character too bad Nexon doesn't give him that much importance when making events 😔

And the DS and BaM are the reasons I've been saving up all my luck to build another full Unique Absolabs set. Those two are my first ever characters in Maplestory (on any and all of the English servers), and I still play with the DS until now, along with the Xenon.
Now that reminds me: I should Hyper-Burn the DS on May 31.

First and foremost, congratulations on your marriage! Hope you and your wife have many happy days ahead!
As a MSEA DS main, the class is a solid one regardless of your MS experience. A decent damage dealer with a good number of survival skills, plus very cool animations. And if you want a boss killer or even a bossing mule, DS's kit is basically built for that with 3 skills that give invul (one of which heals you even if you don't hit anything), a party-support hp leech, and attacks that center around critting and boss damage. Some of your pre-4th job skills even have defensive utility (Dark Thrust and Chaos Lock) that saved me a few times for certain bosses.
The biggest downside for DS imo, is that you do have to invest a bit into getting some extra DF. The base 120 DF at 4th job looks alright at first, but even when you get Blue Blood to cut down your DF consumption, your main mobbing and bossing skills still eat up a lot of DF. The hyper DF and pnou shield can mean the difference in survival.
Another downside is that 2 of the skills that provide invincibility are pretty much tied to their intended purposes, Dark Metamorphosis for a damage buff and Demon Bane as a burst skill. Chances are, you won't use either as to invul through attacks unless you really have to and they aren't on cooldown. You could save Metamorphosis for when you can't dodge an instant-kill like Lucid's dragon though.
As a fellow MSEA player, any thoughts on maining between a viper or a DS? Currently have a 220 viper through the hyper burning event, and looking at the changes DS had so far, I gotta say, I'm pretty much inching to trying out the DS. Which do you think is better for a clean slate account to go for?

I'm not a huge maple player im only like lvl 150 in reboot on my hoyoung cuz i do lots of questing but i wanted to know if you ever did hoyoungs and what you thought about them or if u were gonna do a video about them? Thanks

Demon bane was always a full , the moment u press the button, it goes from tapping 2 seconds to holding it for 6 seconds.
Btw demon bane is an the whole duration not only the second part 5:49
Can't decide if I should hyper burn a DS or Bucc. Both classes seem really good when it comes to mobbing and bossing. But there's a chance there might be a nerf on attack speed in GMS which may make DS feel a bit clunkier and I read somewhere about a Bucc's being tied to its burst?
I main a buccaneer but I’m recently returning from a hiatus since like 2010. Ran a buccaneer and I’m having great fun with the changes made since back in the day! Mobbing and bossing is quite nice! I’m only 170 though. Have a side demon avenger and personally, enjoy the buccaneer a bit more. Cheers! 😄
MapleSEA confirmed they are keeping 0 attack speed so GMS is likely the same

Yes. This wasnt highlighted in the video but should have been as its a huge factor in main / pickrate diff between servers.

if their concussion attack had a higher hitbox like heros new mobbing attack this class would be unmatched.
I love their aesthetic but they just feel a little too clunky when mobbing to me
Man I love this class, I just wish the crit wasn't built in the skills and just make it so DS gains crit with passives like everyone else

Us Xenon mains would have to bring up the biggest cons for Xenons: they are the most expensive class in the game... thanks to the All Stats% potential line having the lowest chance to be gotten from re-rolls. 😂

How does it stack in terms of survivability compared to other classes? Like again dawn warrior which is pretty strong right now, but isn't as unkillable as something like a paladin.
