I think carved brink would be a great quest for captain fanny bones and the laughing crew. I Haven't played it all the way through. But there is. TREASURE
I been watching your videos for a while and have had so much fun and laughter watching your videos. Today of all days for a new video to be uploaded and on my birthday no less is an amazing time! Please keep up the fantastic work and have an amazing day. I thank you for making my days full of laughter and fun.
Sometimes I wonder what it must be like to be an npc. Like, imagine being Seviana Umbronox. Waiting who knows how long for the dragonborn when finally he enters your house. He's a skeleton. You introduce yourself and immediately they call your name fake. In comes his crew, which for whatever reason contains a naked man and, somehow, another dragonborn. You ask what they saw and they immediately start rattling off a nonsensical story about mushrooms and stolen oars; all whilst his crew start messing with your stuff- and wait, is one of them making dinner? And this just goes on.
Id love a saga of the entity known as "James." So far James has been a Solitude guard, a Whiterun guard, a Riften and Windhelm guard, a dragon, a bandit, and now a cheetah. I would love to learn more about the lore of this shapeshifting mimic that accompanies The Captain's every adventure....be he friend or foe?
Geek comment - Umbranox is a legit elder scrolls surname. The Countess of Anvil in Oblivion is Lady Umbranox. On another note, always happy to see another upload from you. Makes me happy.
Lol maybe everyone stopped following you when you went into the desert because you threw Sven's new boots down a hole and they're all trying to get the boots back.
"I don't give two shits about being the Grey Cowl, but it is a THING. And I do want it." - The average every single Skyrim experience ever. No one cares about being the leader of every guild, we just want the gear and shinies.
Did the pale lady quest the other day. Was just roaming around looking for yelling walls, hopped down the mountain and found the cave. Now I have another "thing" in the chest in my basement in Falkreath.
Gray Cowl of Nocturnal! This is such an incoherent hot mess of a mod, I love it. Can't wait to see what the Captain, your captain, Captain Fannybones, makes of it. 😂
And yet getting the cowl feels more rewarding than in the CC quest, where you basically talk to a begger, steal a note, get a key, and than a dude hands it over.
I had an absolute fit of laughter when you told Sven he was getting “whacked into a wee wooden box and chucked into the ocean” when he dies 😂 Cheers, dearest, from your High Queen ❤ Thank you for making me feel a lot better today!
Between the episode with the random group of Thalmar on the ship and the odd stolen oar, I'm convinced, Lt. Commander Shroom throws large, chaotic parties every time the rest of the crew go on their grand adventures.
Oh, the Sea Dragon is a mess when the captain is on adventure. Wonder why there was some dude and a DB assassin on the ship at some point? Those were some of Shroom's guests.
I swear the editing and the quality gets better everytime. its so nice to see you growing, you deserve a career in youtube, made my day watchin this, as does every upload :D youre one of my biggest inspirations on this platform and Im only as consistent as I am because I strive to be like you
You made a movie about one of my favorite nostalgic mods Never did I expect to see a bigtime youtuber making an hour plus video about playing it in vr ♥️
Dude Merak, and lydia looking they went on a bender together was priceless😂😂😂, and the ending was hilarious "im going back and buying that house in Hammerfell" 😂😂😂❤❤❤
By Mora’s migraine… This mod is a mess. XD For those interested in the lore: Umbra as a sword no longer properly exists. It had become a Daedric entity, a realm of shadow and a devastating weapon all rolled into one. It was however destroyed and the creature if Umbra was slain so that Clavicus Vile could recover his power. There are replicas, the original however is no more. Molag Bal’s involvement is baffling. The Daedric Prince of Vampires, Domination, Necromancy and non-consensual intimate relations isn’t known for working alongside other princes. Especially not Nocturnal, who overall is quite a pleasant and passive Daedric Prince compared to the others. Nocturnal being even remotely involved with the Dwemer is odd. The Dwemer were the ultimate atheists. In a world where the gods actively throw stuff at you, the Dwemer decided they didn’t believe in any gods and started building their own. It is this experimental god-making attempt that caused them to vanish from the face of the universe. Purged as a race from Aurbis. They don’t even exist in the afterlives. The Champion of Cyrodiil became Sheogorath. They’re now the Daedric Prince of madness and the original Sheo reverted back to being Jygglag. NONE of the Daedric princes like Sheogorath, but he’s the most powerful Daedra in existence, he does what he wants when he wants without anyone able to actually stand against him alone.
My thoughts upon seeing the title: "it's says it's about not Skyrim, not that it's not about Skyrim" therefore I look. Honestly it makes sense that something about the grey fox would take you to oblivion locations because I'm pretty sure he was a more relevant character in that game even though I've never seen whatever quest he's related to. Honestly the only reason I tried joining the guild in that game was to try to sell stolen goods and that in and of itself was a hassle. Would probably be more interested in hooking up my new second hand Xbox and trying to play the copy of Morrowind I got from my dad.
Simon your Skyrim series is my Stranger Things. It's brilliant, funny, and no matter how many times I watch your Skyrim playlist I hear something new and funny.
I do think it's very funny that Simon forgot halfway through the video that the Grey Fox was called that, and just started calling him Grey Cowl. That's like calling Batman Batmobile
It's a good thing skeletons are fireproof. 40:00 Oh, by Oblivion. He did NOT tell them to be on their best behavior. Welp, citizens of Hammerfell, been nice knowing you. Hmm. Looking to commission a portrait, are you? I might be willing. Just tell me how you want to appear (what equipment, etc) and I'll be happy to give it a shot. You can pay me in cheese.
I have watched every single one of your elder scrolls videos now, whilst playing Skyrim on my own. Might be about time for me to hit up that patreon 😅 Keep up the videos, they're great 😁
if youre ok with a littttle bit of lore breaking i absolutely adore the relics of hyrule mod it adds so much treasure to the world themed after the LOZ
Lydia is a real MVP of this episode. Rushes Dwemer Centurions, leads the way through the area with invisible bridge, turns into a pin cushion for the team and even finds time for some "bonding" with Miraak! What a woman!
Moonpath to Elsweyr is a classic! It probably doesn't hold up too well by todays standards but man, I loved that mod. And it's linear nature would actually make it a perfect adventure for the crew...
Yaaas more Captain Fannybones! Always brings the laughs and the banter. One day, I'd love him to play my own quest mod I'm working on, though it has a long way to go before release yet
Love the content, really makes me want to play Skyrim in VR looks like a whole new experience! What VR headset do you use? I'm worried about motion-sickness 😅
I absolutely love your videos man! so much fun and the few channels i regulary laugh out loud while watching. I've been trying to find the mod where Sven keeps being embaressed for being naked. What is it called?

I request you add Mantella to your adventure. Add Ai to your adventure.
I'd love to see the Captain tackle the Forgotten City! Also Project AHO (though you may need a race compatibility patch) & Sirenroot

Lydia's head is so empty that she was able to lead the way on the invisible bridge. The true clairvoyance.
Her head is so empty that she knows what others don't
@@CaptainGreenCoin well, you know what they say: an empty head is a... full... head?
Feature length fanny bones. Thank you captain my captain for the consistent chaos
“Don’t dance at the captain!” That’s where I officially lost it. Pure dead brilliant.
I like how some of the best jokes can be the result of an accident. Like how the crew reapears at just the right time.
1:01:36 stages of grief: where are the crew? 😔 who needs the crew 🤨 I’ve got a new crew 🥳 and they’re all cheetahs 🐈 YAS 💅🏻
Geek comment - Umbranox is a legit elder scrolls surname. The Countess of Anvil in Oblivion is Lady Umbranox.

The Countess of Anvil in Oblivion made that name up.
@@TheLaughingSimon fair play
Specifically, the former grey fox was an Umbranox

I wish I were a skeleton. Skeletons don't get the flu and have to lie bedbound while university assignments pile up.
Not needing to eat, drink, or sleep would be lovely
Well technically we're all skeletons...
Technically we are a squishy ball piloting bone armor via our fleshy exoskeleton... which is super cool to me :)
The downside is that it's hard to find a job as skeleton
@@YoshiTheWise skelly bois need lots of milks

the more your crew grows, the more unhinged and naturally hilarious the antics get.
keep up the good work captain!
Captain Fannybones and the Laughing Crew is my favourite movie franchise
Thank you for the great adventure, my captain
Sven nearly gets armor. Maybe next time
Sven's willingness to sacrifice his armour for his Captain is not only a sign of his dedication to the crew, but also his dedication to _the bit._
I love how the youtube thumbnail looks like an 80's movie poster. Another great cinematic marvel to behold, thank you!
Yaaas I loved making this thumbnail.
I'm convinced that you're Sheogorath
Everything that happens is just madness
"Puzzle Dungeon Bullocks" ... I'm so stealing this line... 🤣🤣🤣
The Captain doesn’t just own all our treasure, he DESERVES all our treasure because he's the Greatest Treasure.

okay but a mod about Captain Fannybones tomb would be sick
and it should be wildly nonsensical, like a Sheogorath quest, full of LaughingSimon easter eggs ☠️
love yer accent . mostly what i subbed for and the hilarious skyrim gameplay. i look forward to every video
We all came for the accent and stayed for the absolute insanity🤣
Solving puzzles... the FANNY WAY!
Which is awful for everyone involved, but great for those of us watching.
And terrible for my nausea! Those puzzle dungeons really did a number on me.
Was so confused when the Cowl quest looked so much more involved and with unique assets. NIce mod!
"Is someone there?"
"No. N-no. No, no. No no."
Why did this make me laugh so hard? 😂
Don't know if anyone else has mentioned it yet, but it looks like capt fanny bones is still named "Prisoner" after the Great Rebuild.
MATE I keep forgetting to fix that 😭 I notice it EVERY VIDEO and I forget about it after EVERY VIDEO

To be fair, that is a much better quest than the one Bethesda gave us through their paid mods store.

A new video and an hour long one at that, what a treat!❤
Realise how Captain Fannybones is a skeleton, and how we never see Sheogorath's insides...
You did remember to select your current quest as your quest objective, right? Cause I don't believe clairvoyance works without it.
Absolutely! Definitely! I'm pretty sure. Maybe. I guess we'll never know.
I absolutely love your videos man! so much fun and the few channels i regulary laugh out loud while watching. I've been trying to find the mod where Sven keeps being embaressed for being naked. What is it called?
To be fair, cold harbour alot more silent now 😅
