This is exactly the video I've been looking for lately. I just wanted to know how to send an animation to after effects, what settings etc using Octane. Thank you!
You start making more videos like this You're going to be super popular, you referenced CG Shortcuts, I think you are similar to them because of the short, densely packed tutorials. I love it would love to see some future tutorials on lighting and especially 3D motion tracking. This video earned you a sub
Thank you for this!! As I continue to get bigger clients and learn more, I will continue to share what I know in the most condensed and straightforward way!
I’ve had that issue before. The problem was that one or several of the materials I was using were regular Cinema 4D materials. Octane can’t render those. You need to convert your materials to octane materials. There is a tab on the octane window that lets you convert all of your materials. Good luck!
How long does renders take is it like unreal with real time or is like Blender/Maya I need to know. My specs atm are i7 7700k, 16gb ram, 1070 GPU, 1tb, m.2

Thanks man - I'm trying to render out an animation without a background, and didn't realize I can render out stills and use as a video in AE. Thanks!

Thanks for the walkthrough, it is very helpful and clear. Do you meet any problem that octane stops at the 1st frame when rendering animation?

Please make a tut how did you finish their project 🙏🏼, I'm struggling with materials and octane(((
Thank you :D How do you save a single image directly to Photoshop?
just do the same, but dont check "all frames" in the rendering section

this method does not work with octane assets, unless I'm missing something (just fyi to anyone wondering in comments)
What issue are you having? Maybe I can help. All my assets are octane assets
@@kevinmakesvideos this method renders without any of the lighting, some of the textures gone, etc.
Thanks man!
