Have you thought about making the Ogden cami with two fabrics , making it reversible, since it has a lining/facing already? Just a thought. I remember a lady in the 80s doing that with a tank top pattern and using two different slinky fabrics. Love the fabric of yours.
I've been doing exactly the same this weekend- just sewed an Ogden Cami and a self drafted pleated skirt to wear together to a wedding! Loved the cami so much too and had zero fit adjustments so literally just cutting out another!
Hay Lizzie, Its great isn`t it when things that are quick & simple to sew, whizz them up on the machine, not much faffing & wear it there & then. Looks lovely on you, don`t worry about the back, I think it is not an issue. The color is gd & the Geese are fun. Thank you for sharing. X
Very cute! I love the fabric! I made one Ogden so far...I raised the back, just drew a line straight across. Looks nice and now the back is notably different from the front! I will make more too!
Love your Ogden - it's really your fabric that makes it SO lovely. Maybe you could add a couple of fish-eye darts in the back? I have to add these all the time to garments for shape. I even add them to RTW if I find it hanging out too much at the back :)
Love the fabric you used Lizzie, I recognize it from a skirt you made! I just made the ogden as while for the first time and definitely still need some personal adjustments... for one my lining sit awkwardly at bustpoint so when you mentioned yours is much longer I just laughed and thought I must have messed up somewhere (granted I am much larger chested). I also found the highbust a bit tight despite using the right sizing on the chart. Might have to size up as I'm too scared to try an FBA.
I really have to stop watching your videos (not really...LOL). I have similar taste and want to buy up all these patterns....but that's getting ahead of my skills and then finding the time. Love the cami and the fabric....so nice!!
Hi Lizzie, i am relatively new to sewing and have just come across your video on the Ogden Cami. I also tried making my first one recently and i had the same issue as you where there was an extra pool of fabric at the back, which had kinda put me off the pattern as i am not sure how to fix it. I was just wondering if you managed to solve this and how you did it. Thanks :-)
Hi Susanne, I'm afraid I don't have any tips on this. I have made the ogden cami since, but in fabrics with more drape like viscose, which made the excess fabric much less noticeable. I hope you find a solution. I would get on google/youtube if it was me!
I’ve found patterns that after several I’ve had to do no adjustments. Silhouette Patterns.com. I have no affiliation with this company jus trying to pass on great patterns

Its lovely and the colour scheme on you is perfect. The fabric actually looks like silk and if it isn't silk, you should definitely make one in silk.
Yours turned out lovely! So much easier to fit than mine was with all the adjustments I needed to do for my bust.
Very Paige what adjustments did you do? I am large busted and just wondering if I could do a fba on this. Maybe a French dart?

You're really beautiful and your way of teaching how to sew is very helpful and easy to follow ❤️

you have such a lovely eye colour - I know that's a weird thing to say! but they are just really mesmerising!
FIRST OF ALL YOU'RE SO PRETTYYYY
Beautiful top. Lovely fabric. Just checked out your blog for the photo with the skirt and they look lovely together.

Weekends With G Try a full bust measurement. They aren’t all that hard.
I love the ogden cami, I've made two and gotten fabric for two more!
That fabric looks stunning with your complexion, I just had to say.
Thank you so much 😊

Your Cami turned out beautiful, love the fabric choice.
NaturalDane you are a very active lady😊
Great cami! I definitely need to get this pattern! 😃. Where can I get it? Thanks for sharing! God bless!
Thanks Carolyn! You can get it direct from the True Bias website and probably from The Fold Line as well x
also coolcrafting stock it and lots of other patterns/fabrics too - they are my favorite shop!!
Love the pattern - it is perfect for you.
I the Roscoe Dress too it’s so easy and beautiful.
Hi! I was wondering how difficult it would be to make this more cropped

Try a sway back adjustment to correct the back.
Looks great on you. Being a bigger booby person those straps won't do it for me but all the versions I have seen are beautiful.
So pretty on you. Looks great😊
Love the Ogden cami!
Well done! Those straps!
Lovely on you😁
Okay and I thought it's a DIY 🙁
