Q. 2 it is always depend when you usually start the shift, some people work 6 to 2, some 2 to 10, some from 6pm to to max 4am so during the night, some from 8am or 9am, it's crazy this question, how you can answer, so if on Friday you finished at 10pm or 11pm, you won't be able to have enough minimum 9 hours rest to start at 4am, and the question it make you understand you have already finished your week shift, so it's like asking for overtime on saturday, it's not lime you still driving and the employer call you and ask, it is a bit messy the question, need more details to have a clear question, this is in my opinion
Sergiu Cebotari you are confusing yourself my friend, the question is to make people aware that you need a brake for working time too not just driving, what your on about overtime is contractual stuff with the employer which has nothing to do with CPC test, FYI you are entitled to work 6 days by law... my advice to you if you are taking a test anytime soon is read the question make sure you understand what is being asked.thank you for your time and good luck!
employer asked for extra work not for driving. for work, you can work maximum of 6 hours to take a break of 15 mins. all jobs driving or non-driving must be recorded on tachograph
Sorry for the late reply, you want official DVSA Guide book there is two versions the one in brief explanation rather thin book and the other has more detail but there is no book to practice the actual scenarios of CPC Test, wish you all the best The book titled ( The Official DSA Guide to Driving Goods Vehicles )
Abdulhakim Ali congratulations for passing you PCV, the CPC has questions similar to PCV but with a story line the manual handing is one to know will be in the test almost guranteed rest of it will test your knowledge on real life stories, just read the question make sure you understand what you are beeing asked it can not be any different...GOOD LUCK!

Question 2is a good one, it confused me but is one to remember
Is this Ierland
I just don't understand question 2- why latest time for the first break is 10.00 if max driving time is 4.30 hours
Aleksandr Sostak when you work for over 6 hours you need to show at least 15minutes brake on your tacho...question is on work not drive time

I am sorry, but the best way to teach theory tests is just showing the questions and the right answers right way.
I need passing my cpc but I don't know what kind of book I buy
