Tina was an absolute idol and inspiration for Jimmy. He talks about sneaking into her concerts as a young hooligan. He was worried about dancing in this clip and Tina’s answer was ‘don’t worry, just stand there baby, I’ll make you look good’
Would love to see more Jimmy Barnes reactions! I saw an interview with Jimmy where he said he was so star struck with Tina. One thing I love about Jimmy is that he does amazing harmonies with everyone. His powerhouse voice and grit can be such a great compliment to so many voices.
They are the perfect match their voices meld together beautifully. Jimmy has a 4 and half octave range. Love the enjoyment you get from listing to our Aussie legend.
Loved your reaction and I learnt a few new things. Thank you! ❤️ You and Jimmy have in common that Tina was one of both of your first idols. She was the first person he saw live in concert. As a young teenager, he and some mates snuck in to see her and he was completely mesmerised. He has stated that singing with Tina was one of the greatest highlights of his career.
The guitarist with the hair is Johnny Diesel, Jimmy Barnes brother in-law. He also has his solo career. Jimmy can sing anything. Soul & blues to rock Aussie rock royalty
Hello, Great reaction..Both sounded epic. If you can could you please react to Jimmy barnes singing “change gonna come” and anything from him and his fantastic band “cold chisel” Thankyou 🙃🙃🙃
@@TheSomaticSingerYes please. Stone Cold from jimmy with guitar from Joe Bonamassa is electrifying. Or Bow River from Jimmys Cold Chisel ers. The live at Ringside 2003 is the best version imorgen. Great reaction btw
My understanding was that Jimmy also loved Tina to bits. She featured a lot on our national broadcaster in the 70’s and beyond. About this time she was here for Mad Max. But I imagine it was the 70’s role as the Acid Queen in Tommy that was mesmerising for anyone who saw it then and that may be what won Jimmy and why he was a bit nervous about this duo. That said, he’s really great at duos and this was one of them. I enjoyed your reaction very much.
Whoever came up with the idea of putting Tina and Jimmy together is a goddamn genius.
Tina and Jimmy are a male and female version of each other.
