This jig is brilliant. Just fitted 140 sheets of PIR insulation in at least half the normal time with virtually no dust. I highly recommend getting one if you fit a lot of kingspan.
Absolutely awesome way to cut PIR, I’ve been trying all different ways over the years and found this to be the easiest and cleanest. I will be recommending it to all my colleagues in the trade.
Please note. I do not know of any way to cut this type of insulation to the exact millimetre. My jig will give a decent cut, but the addition of Gappotape would be an advantage to achieving a tight fit.

Holy shit man, this looks amazing
I went to a talk on gapotape yesterday at NSBRC - that and your square cuts will save so much heat and air leakage from badly fitted insulation.

Always try to source sheets without ripples. These cause the wire to go off line. The bottom cut should stay straight. Steve .
The new jigs now all cut to 150mm.

I am expecting delivery of the 150mm jigs by the end of February. I am taking orders for them now. The cost £235 for the full kit.
I am not having any more 100mm jigs made.
