- Hey everyone, here's a successful legendary difficulty clear along with 15 tips to help you out! Feel free to join the OW PvE discord (link in comments) if you need help in clearing it on Legendary!
Completing Death from Above on Legendary difficulty will complete/progress all challenges related to it. Missile Fighter, Expert Missile Fighter and Modifier Master.

@ASMR.Arcade. Both tanks have their perks, but Rein is pretty good against slicers and breachers. For slicers, his swings knock them back and for breachers, he can charge them away from the robot :)

How do you guys deal with Stalkers + Breachers with this comp? Whenever I try it, the game will throw waves with like 4 breachers and anywhere from 2 - 6 stalkers at us, and we only barely manage it with Dva + Brig. With Mercy, Dva is the only person on your team with a boop and it doesn't send very far.
In the Death from Above modifier, everyone can help by placing the missile strikes on point. It should be able to clear them consistently. Genji can also deflect missile strikes (unless he messes up and dies to the missiles lol - he has to take a step back from the center of the circle to do it properly). On top of all that, Soldier can camp high ground and prioritize Jumpjets and Slicers/Breachers. Make sure to save ults for big packs of Slicers/Breachers. Mercy res is pretty useful too, to avoid getting overwhelmed if ppl are dying a lot.
Can you use the end strat with moving the robo to the side and keeping one enemy alive in the first legendary mode too?
Should be able to, yes :) but again, sometimes the robot never walks to the end (this is OK tbh)
As for phase 2 faster battery spawning, what do you mean? 4 jumpjets AND slicers/breachers for a total of 8, or any of the 4 combined as long as it's 4?
It will be the 4 flying jumpjets (always) and either 4 slicers or 2 breachers. The secondary enemies you get (slicers/breachers) is RNG-based 👍 so either 8 or 6 total
@@drippinghereGotcha. I already got it done, but all your findings will make the remainder 2 modifiers easier. I fear that "mystery" swap will be the worst.

I have a question, why don’t we kill the stalkers??
If you keep that first stalker alive at the end, it will prevent the other waves of enemies from spawning, making the hacking segment a lot easier :)
pve now is another story with those new players i feel do a 4 stack increase so badly chance of succes legendary
A pre-made group definitely makes it easier. I've tried with all randoms and it feels near impossible
I beat this twice today and the new one with ultimate spots. This one is a walk in the park compared to the ultimate zone modifier.
What? I beat Ultimate Zones in 1 try but still can't win this

Genji cant deflect the airstrikes… I tried.
From one of the genjis that I've played with:
"you want to have the red beam right in front of you. if you can't see the red beam, you're going to get it directly on your head. you can also look at the ground, there's a crosshair and you want to stand right behind the center, not directly on it."

why's your game 130 fps cap?
I had it at 200 before, then randomly left it at 130 when I had to lower it
@@drippinghere that's just where it was stable then gotcha :D I Noticed less performance drops too when I disabled extra screens/monitors and game on single display. Nobody asked but extra screens don't "pause" they're constantly updated using 3d processing from gpu, which can cause drops/stutter. Ppl can also use multiple gpus to run the extra displays. Sometimes (depending on your system) extra monitors could eat like 10+ fps depending on refresh rates and resolution of the displays, even more fps loss if watching vids/other hardware accelerated stuff. Aight thx for reply and tips! Cheers if anybody reading this actually gets gains from optimizing ur screens... back to randoms+legendary death from above :x

@@drippinghere heyo i JUST beat Death From Above and the new Ultimate zones legendary BACK TO BACK in groups with randoms! I even asked them to cheez ending both times from your tip. the Ultimate Zones group held stalker at 1% hp til 99% progress. the Death From Above group full sent the stalker back to hell at like 30% lol
