can you tell me the difference between musica & oscar 2 if you have video compression that would be good both machines look very similar in terms of features
The direct connect models are $700 more than the pour over models. What do you get for that extra $700? Do you at least get a rotary pump? Is there some other difference? A large boiler perhaps?
+Timur Dzhambinov What is your volume like per hour? While this machine is NSF rated, it may not be able to keep up with a cafe's volume. Here's a place for more information: www.seattlecoffeegear.com/cafe/choose-your-commercial-machine/espresso/choose-espresso Cheers!

Hello, If i'm in the intersection of choosing between the linea mini or the musica for my small office, Which one would you suggest me and what are the pros and cons of each of them?
aWanderer Both are excellent choices. The main difference between the two machines is the fact that the Musica is a heat exchanger while the Linea Mini is a double boiler. If your office will be making multiple drinks back to back (4+ drinks) the Musica will give you a faster recovery time. The Linea has an extra 1/2 liter of reservoir space, however the Musica can be plumbed in, if that is something you want to do. Let us know if you have any other questions!
I always really enjoy your videos. Definitely one of the best reviewing sites. I am looking to purchase an espresso machine for domestic use but would love to hear your opinion Gail of the Simonelli Musica vs the La Marzocco Linea Mini?
that ended when Kat left the show. Really miss the interaction between Gail and Cat it made the crew reviews very entertaining. What ever happened to Kat?
I want to be able to change that light color. We're in 2022, how in the world do they not have a control where I can change the LED color to 1000s of different colors
Thinking about getting an espresso machine and the Nuova simonelli definetly peaked my interest. If I get this machine for in home use can I leave it on without using too much power or should I turn it on and off. And how long does it take to warm up?
Amirhosein Herandy The Oracle is always an interesting machine to compare to, since it lives in a class all by itself. Steaming wise, the Musica takes the cake if you are wanting a more traditional steaming experience. You have a double boiler on the Oracle while the Musica is a heat exchanger machine. If boiler materials are of interest to you, the Musica has a Brass/Copper boiler while the Oracle has a stainless steel boiler. Both machines have programmability, but the Breville probably has a little more outside the standard scope. Overall, it really depends on the espresso experience you want. If you like to really tinker and fine tune your shots, the Musica will be your choice. But is ease of use (and still excellent shot quality) is something you are after, the Oracle might suit you better. Check out our R58/Oracle comparison if you want: ua-cam.com/video/1-GYTJREc0c/v-deo.html
I have long been wanting a real espresso machine, but I only make one or two cup(s) of coffee every day and was wondering if these types of machines can cope with such a small amount or if it's designed for making coffee all day long. What happens with the remaining water that's in the boiler after use? How long does it take to start an espresso machine, until it is operational?
pdmmdk 25 minutes is this machines recommended warm up time. Although the longer you warm it up the more stable it will be. These machines aren't really designed for more than 10 drinks a day. Of course it can do more, but your usage would give you an excellent lifespan. Let us know if you have any other questions about this machine or others!

indeed you rock as well and looking forward to my new Eureka Mignon Specialita Espresso Grinder that I ordered today from you for an upgrade from my Rancilio Rocky grinder. Now to save for this bad boy espresso machine.
I've owned this machine for 5 years I think it's sadly overlooked. Nice to see it profiled. The steam wand and system with volumetric sold me.
Would you say it's good enough for a small size pop up coffee business? Currently using breville barista express and looking to upgrade
Robert Villarreal I have seen it used at a bar once. Looked nice. Not a commercial machine
@@KOIFLA NSF means a commercial machine

I was wondering, could this be used for a low volume cafe? On the website it says it's NSF certified. Thank you

Hi what is the water temperature from group head?
I love your channel, you always do great reviews!
Tank you! Excellent review of the machine!
You didn't show us how to program the doses!
Does it durable for outdoor coffee cart?
Would this be a hood option for catering? 20 cups a hour.

4K video please!
I play techno electronic dance music for fun so this machine would have that vibe
I assume this was filmed before the latte art series? :) I was hoping to see Gail do great art going forward...

Does this machine come with an opv? Is it adjustable?
Yes
Какой чудесный дизайн... Жаль нет обзоров на русском. Спасибо!
Is the cover on the brew head plastic? I hope not, i hate that on machines. It's cheap craftsmanship
Hey, folks. Could you make a comparison of this model with the new Oscar II? Thanks!
Sure! Stay tuned!

damians0 Thanks for the suggestion! We will get right on it :)
Is there a light shining down from the grouphead or just the sides?
Sides only
Is this machine better than Rocket Espresso machines and if so how and why?
Brew for your buck nothing beats the Rocket!
woah woah where's the taste test Gail?

Hi there
The group head what is it? Is it E61
No. It is its own group head. The E61 will have a vertical pressure release valve

15mins . Im on 230v. Just turn it on and off at the mains.
The Sage steam looks like toy compared to this nice
Moussaka?
How is this compared to a breville?
Amirhosein Herandy Which Breville?
Something like the 920XL probably, or even the oracle.

Seattle Coffee Gear Thanks, that was really helpful. I'm more interested in the espresso shots rather that the milk.
