A good server should have such donations that reward players with something small and neat rather than punish non-donators for example by stripping users from worldedit or certain blocks or by making their plots in creative horrendously small (like 1/16 of "richie rich" plots). Such punishing donation system is in Stadtsholm, where you can't enter the subway unless "you donate your blood" (exaggeration) If I ever had a server, I would keep all areas open as it will be only available for LAN for my friends. They just bring their laptops, connect to our wifi and join my LAN world.

Yes, its the traincarts, we are running 1.8 because of this and other plugins are not up to date. :)
