    The 'TIME' drama difficulty was the most unexpected really didn't expect from Seo Yea Ji to be this kind of person

    JiSoo story really sad. He hasn’t come back even after they found his accuser lied and people still curing his name.

      @@user-lt7pb3ty5f there seems to be a lot of back and forth on whether the proof of innocence is real or not still so I won't touch that. but think of how in the US a lot of people wrongly imprisoned for decades often had to plead guilty cause the courts already made their mind up that he/she was guilty so they just wanted a lighter sentence. often due to pressure from their own legal team. that would be my guess IF he is innocent.

    only watched reply 1988 and it's one of the top-rated in imdb. It's also my first time seeing such a genre. I'd say my 2nd would be Reborn Rich (which is also one of the top-rated)

      I mean top rated sometimes doesn't really mean it's amazing/that you will like it, it's just a popular genre or storyline haha.

    Honestly, I felt so bad for Seohyun. The lead actor for "Time" lacked professionalism. And, yes, while he was being "controlled" by Seo Yea-ji, at the end of the day, he's a PROFESSIONAL actor. If he was going to act like a compete jerk, he shouldn't have taken the role in the first place 😒

      What a convenient response. If it was a girl, you wouldn't have said the same. Are we really going to forget what kind of mental health issue that might have been going through if he was having a partner that was insistent on being 'possessive'?

    • @katherinelee6403
      @katherinelee6403 Рік тому +2

      @Mrudhula Pandian No, I would have said the exact same thing. I understand that abusive relationships take a toll on one's mental well-being, but that's also a reason why people shouldn't take on a role or task that they can't do/ perform. You're not only inconveniencjng yourself but others' time and resources too.

      The video misrepresents the story. He didn't lack professionalism, he was genuinely unwell and he even sued his agency that they were did not fulfill their duty of care by forcing him to work when he wasn't physically able to. He is seriously one of the best actors of his generation.

    I feel sure that production crews do run into hard times. The populace want to be entertained with these fabulous series, and films. However, as in anything in life, there are no guarantees! When Covid19 happened, it caused chaos and a lot of things were affected; including filming, actors and actresses, and health, for a lot of people. Even though 3 years have gone by since it's onset, we still have issues to this day. I feel bad for those whose lives were made even more difficult during hard times. It is a blessing that the industry have been able somehow, to keep presenting series and films. I have high admiration for all those who contribute. Great video by the way, informative and well presented.

    It's a bit unfair to blame the issues of the Time drama on the lead actor when he clearly was being abused by Seo Yea Ji. She was the one causing all the troubles.
    The blurred out and cutout parts in Reply 1988 make me really sad, it feels like the drama has been vandalized and butchered. It makes it hard to rewatch. Such a shame because it's one of the best K dramas ever made.

      lmao they both wrong, he's an adult.... there's so many actor & actresses that already married but still doing their job perfectly... there's things called "professionalism" and "politeness" it's like basic human decency... even when u don't even like a person/coworker, u can still being nice/polite but he was RUDE.... his acting is AWFUL.... it's unfair for seohyun, that she barely hold her tears on public (she probably cried alot at home), if he unable to carry the job then don't take it from the start, just be a house-bf or something

    Reply 1988's issues with copyright is one of those things that can't be avoided once a drama goes on OTT streaming years after it's release. One thing though it that it becomes a lesson for production companies in the future on how they can keep copyrighted contents once their dramas stream on other OTT platforms.

    i really don't understand why the actors/actress's have to make an apology letter if they didn't bully or what they were accused of. Plus in some cases some of their careers will never be the same again. It's so sad that people make up theese lies.

    • @kristinesharp6286
      @kristinesharp6286 Рік тому +3

      There companies that control the actors and entertainers have a lot of power. They are locked into long contracts with overreaching conditions. The lawyers are company ones and do not have the actor’s as their primary focus. Korean society expects an apology over a rumor even if untrue cause there must be some fault that that person was the target. It would be weirder not to apologize. You only see very old actors and entertainers talking relationships or marriage. They want the public to fantasize about the person as long as possible and well image is everything. So sad. Maybe 10 years or so if mandatory military over… now they are doing reality shows off those couplings.

      I guess its only to make their careers going
      Despite them not being a bully, the korean industry think its better to apologise than to damage an actors or idols reputation bh going to the court
      So even if they are not at fault they apologise because their career is at risk
      And this sucks tbh

    Still 17 a crew member died working 70 hours over 5-7 days in their 30’s. And they ruled it preexisting? Reply the one in the 80’s you can see their breath in some scene cause its so cold yet they are in a bedroom in an entirely different season. People should be paid and have a realistic schedule. The first time I saw one of the reply on Hulu thought it weird they kept blurring the tv they were watching. Guess it got worse. You see they really need to clean up their act now they are global shows. It bothers me how they treat cast and crew. Filme a few weeks ahead so the schedule is not awful. Other dramas cicadas take up the background. If they filmed weeks ahead this could be gotten round.

  • @thebluerena

    the first one actually can be avoided... the production house/ pd is too self -centered, like if u don't have budget/money... please just cancel/stop it... if u unable to pay all the staff then don't hire them... they basically waste their time, effort, and resource but get unpaid...

      Really don’t believe production company. In Korea the actor lawyers and managers are not separate entities but part of the production company. We know from some girl groups they were not allowed phones or boyfriends. We know their contracts are way too long. We know their food is managed, no rice for a year. The conditions those in suits decide is ridiculous. When there is a scandal the actors are meant to apologize whether they did it or not. The My Golden Life male lead came back after an allegation was determined false and meant to be a money grab. His show back was very popular which was nice.
