I tried Society today, and it was okay on paper; tried it on skin and absolutely loved it. Will probably be my next purchase.

Excellent review Peter, as always. I have tried it on paper and I wasn't really excited about it. I may ask for a sample to try it on skin like you did.

Amazing longevity on the skin. It was a blind buy for me since my only other GG is Reserve Privee, and have no reservations. Definitely one to try on the skin rather than a rest strip. Incredibly versatile fragrance with the woodsy notes, vetiver, and ample sweetness
I personally think the ones bashing it will come around as time goes on, the same way we’ve seen with previous big hitters these days.

Great review Peter. Givenchy hasn't been on my radar that much yet. I don't know why, but somehow it just doesn't appeal to me that much.
However, this one might be the one which could change this. I like what you tell us about it. I'm going to get myself a sample and give it a fair try.

I've never worn the previous ones. I bought the newest flanker a few weeks ago and it was a stunner-I love Dior but right I'm torn between the two

The dior sport smells like issey miyake maybe a slight more woody at the opening, but it's issey miyake
Just dropped a packet on Allure Homme Sport eau extreme, Guerlain L’homme Ideal edt (already have the edp) and Gentleman Society. Sorted for a while now… I hope 😂

Trying to like this last release, but something is missing for me. Maybe if it wasn’t in the gentleman line I wouldn’t compare it to the previous ones. Reserve Privé and the EDP are still much much better…
I definitely is a turn from the originals.
I like it better after the top has faded. The wood note really nice.

…love Givenchy but,…i didn’t get into the Gentleman line (not a big iris fan) only sampled the “cologne”…this sounds good to me and cool design also…
