After seeing Jamie comment on Shark Exorcist, I knew I gotta see that, so I did. It was so fun seeing everything he said unfolding in front of my eyes. He was dead-on with every comment. Love it!
Best part of Shark Exorcist was the cameraman breathing. Took me a while to figure out what I was hearing. I've actually watched some equally bad 70s movies on Tubi. "Sex And The Lonely Woman, Part 2" (Barbara Mills, naked most of the movie)..."Trucker's Woman", "Teenage Hitchikers" (full frontal all through the movie), tons more, just follow the recommendations on those...some godawful shit on there. Fun though!
Craig’s sheer disgust with no nudity is incredibly amusing.
Great show fellas.
Man, and I thought Sharknado was the most absurd one ...always learning new stuff. Thanks 🍺🤘!!
The guy who played Dracula in Sharkula, Jeff Kirkendall, plays a priest in Noah's Shark
Have to save these for weekend watching to enjoy fully but always worth the wait. Proving once again that even when this group discusses awful movies, perhaps particularly when doing so, the Den is good for laughs. Some wretched sounding films here but now find a curious need to watch some of these, particularly Sharkula. Thanks as always, guys, for this outstanding episode of The Monster's Den.
Hi Guys. Very entertaining Episode. Thanks
What a fun watch. Thank you, Gentlemen!!!
Oh damn. I was so looking forward to seeing The Monsters Den, and just now realized I have to wait another week! Crap.
I can't wait for Jamie's review of Shark Exorcist 2.
Life just wouldn’t be the same without the Monster’s Den, thank you for the bite radius and length of this one, magic!
Thanks folks. I hope you enjoy our total, complete misery! Shark week can piss up a fucking rope next year!
Treat Williams went on to do much better things, like the cult films The Phantom (1996) and Deep Rising (1998). He's also in the underrated Flashpoint (1984) with Kris Kristofferson and RoboCop (1987) actors Kurtwood Smith and Miguel Ferrer.
@@LarryFleetwood8675 He was also great in "Things to do in Denver when Your Dead" and in an early part in "Once Upon a Time in America"
I was trying to pick a film to watch this week for Shark week. Not picking any of those! Ha!
Immediately after this video,i watched Sharkula on Tubi.I have to admit it was fun to watch.
There must be 1000's but the Best will always be the Original JAWS🦈
Yes, many. I watched Shark in Venice (2008) with Stephen Baldwin recently it's both bad and great at the same time, not as awful as it sounds it's watchable enough.
Lovely show, and I'm all for bad shark movies. Not watching them but hearing about how bad they are.
Not to poke fun at the ridiculous concepts on this show, and it is very funny!!! However, the premise for the original JAWS, I think was inspired by sharks who did swim into a fresh water river on the East coast back in 1916. They were Bullsharks if not mistaken. And there are other instances where sharks have survived in fresh water. Including an inland golf course pond.
Davy’s glee at Chris and Craig’s aggravation in the lack of nudity in their movies was awesome.
yeah...Davy rules
Just sitting down to watch Sharkula on UA-cam 😂......Dan never mentioned the catchy theme tune.....
I love "The Monster's Den". And these videos always make my day. Thanks, guys! And what a fun video.
Craig. WTH. Took my kids ( when younger) 4-6x a year to Seaside Heights shore/ boardwalk. That first movie you described sounds like pure VELVEETA Damn. lol actually never even heard of it
I'm not sure if the movie was filmed in the real town...but yeah it's pretty cheesy. Props to Joey Fatone for his effort...RIP from those pesky albino sharks.
I've just watched Lavalantula and 2 Lava 2 Lantula starring Steve Guttenberg and Finn Shepherd who stars in the Sharknado films and yes there just as crappy as your picks but its still fun to pick out the faces (Michael Winlsow and Marion Ramsey from Police Academy and the legend that is Martin Kove)
Love it. I cant wait to watch these great work guys.
Movies that jumped the shark. Thank you for your sacrifice, gentlemen.
god dang night of the sharks isnt "about" the fish we call shark any, more then the wizard of oz is about a male spell caster because not all movie titles are literal and some are metaphorical. a metaphor is when you group words together to mean something other than the words themselves. a shark in this instance means a member of the criminal underworld on account of the criminals passionate, insensitive and violent and predatory nature which he shares with cold blooded creatures such as shark, snake and lizard. obviously no one on the panel has ever taken a media literacy cours in there lifes.
Maybe a regular literacy course would do you, Cuddles, never mind the media part! I mean..that last sentence alone, man..."cours (course) in there (their) lifes (lives).
And if you don't think Night Of The Sharks is being sold as a film about....sharks. With a shark in the title, poster, new DVD cover and film itself... I have a bridge or two to sell you, or a tower in Paris. Is this a parody? Did you co-write the film? (That would explain the quality of the script). But sure, convince yourself that the 6 hour "cours" you took where you learned about Citizen Kane and Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go To College and other artistic endeavours gives you a unique insight into this allegorical masterwork....with fucking Huggy Bear in it.
Man, you are giving Alan Rosenberg a run for his money in terms of quality of comment. He was funnier though. I mean, treating an Italian exploitation film as some kind of Tarkovsky-esque metaphorical treatise for the human condition is OK, but Rosenberg was GOLD, Cuddles. I also love that your comment is editied. If THAT is the final draft, I'd kill to see the lesser, early attempt!
@@DavysFlicks
yeah well i could probably sell you a copy of night of the shark but it looks like you already own one. 🙆♂
Never gonna see any of these. I do have to recommend Sharknado II. It was the only good one. They had a better budget than the first one and it's tighter and a hell of a lot more fun. I did recently watch a movie called Shark Night and fell asleep.
I actually have Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space on pre-order. I watched a preview and thought ‘this looks like shit and I’m a swarm of hungry flies.’
The crabs they use look like something you would get at a party store for do it yourself nautical party is pure low budget genius
Great episode. Some of them might have been watchable given a) celebrity deaths b) quality nudity c) decent script/acting/direction but it seems that none of these were in evidence. Are you sure that Sharkenstein/Sharks of the Corn/Citizen Shark (he can have that one for free) got made? It sounds like the guy and his students had a 5 minute brainstorm about what would be the worst shark film ever and just pretended that they were out there. btw, Craig, I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to do the 'spooky claws' type gesture at the name of the show rather than milk a pair of udders - I saw ya!
I did it for PETE/. Chris ALO !!! 👍💯
I know it's not a shark, but the movie Orca is kick ass and scared the shart out of me as a kid. And it still holds up, unlike the cgi hollyweird shark nonsense.
Jaws is my favourite Movie of all time!
House Shark, Noahs Shark and Land Shark.
Shark Exorcist was filmed in my state, Tennessee and the end of this so called movie takes place inside Opry Mills. The director is a pervert.
Jersey Shore Shark Attack,... gotta get around to watching that one 😅
😂be warned !
Wish a shark ate the whole Jersey shore tv show gang.
I must have seen to much RedLetterMedia (best of the worst) in my life, because I recognised every director you talked about by name.
‘Cause all I ever have
Redemption songs.
Allen Rosenberg? Haha
The trashier the film, the better it gets on the monsters den. Great episode
I also thought Jersey Shore was way earlier than 2009. I woulda said 2005. I gotta say Jersey Shore is pretty horrible 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So, technically, this was the worst ever episode of The Monster's Den, because there wasn't a single movie discussed that I have a hope in hell of ever watching. 😁
There is no bad 🦈 flicks.
Gotta love the monsters den
Sharkansas women's prison massacre. 😂
Great show...a real rant fest. By the way,,,what's with the Alan Rosenberg reference?
He was/is a commenter who started on Jamie, then Chris then the rest of us saying we're everything from sexists to racists to part of the JFK conspiracy and stealing the Lindberg baby. Commented here, Contrarians, my channel trolling.
@@DavysFlicks Ok...thanks for the info.
I’ve seen so many generic shit movies in the past decade. I don’t even know why they bother making this bullshit lol
OUIJA SHARK! It's a shark! And also a ghost! Summoned by an Ouija Board! So it can eat you, using horrible CGI, anywhere, even on land! Easily the worst shark movie I've ever seen.
Sharks Treasure (?)
the worst was Jamie.
The documentation of a shark defecating in graphic detail was difficult to witness. The intercourse scenes were also not pleasant
Shark Bait
The Meg
The Black Demon
i think that MeToo moment killed nudity in movies…at least in America
😃👍
This should not have included any sci channel or made for TV movies. They all are horrible
that's why I wanted to go pre-Sharknado and find a "real" film. Sadly..just really boring.
Love this show!
But watching has made me add collecting Blu-Rays/4K's to comics/vinyl/toys et al. Need some advice from the married panel members on how to calm a spouse who's angry about "The Curse"🫡
Sneak shit into the house when she's in the bathroom.
@Jamie.Laszlo
I'd have to constantly slip laxatives into her food & drink to have the time to sneak it all, but interesting suggestion🤔
While I'm cr@pping away money she's just cr@pping👍
At least "Shark Excorcist" is on sale in a 3 pack featuring "Sharkenstein" AND... "Raiders of the Lost Shark"!
