Nice! that DCTL works good! I think I will get it during Blackfriday! Also, everyone does the grain differently. Dado Valentic says that grain should be mixed with all the effects, that it should be at the start of all the nodes
Yeah those DCTLs are amazing. I can't recommend them enough. That's interesting about what Dado said. In the tests I've done the grain works better at the end. Saying that, they're an amazing colourist, so whatever works best for you is what you should go for. Cheers for watching and commenting. Much appreciated
It’s so nice that you always show your color management in your videos unlike Cullen Kelly who tries to bait people into watching his other videos to see his color management… it’s not even necessary to explain it all every time, but just show it like you do. Love your channel. Very helpful!
Cheers mate, appreciate the kind words. I think Cullen uses the same colour management every time. He may just think people already know it. I agree with you that it's very important, helps you a lot in grading. Thanks again mate
really good deep content/tutorials! i have a question: In the power window is posible to make a perfect square? or a straight line, i cannot find a manual way to move X or Y of the tool
You can make a perfect square. You can use the pen tool, or with a circle tool you can change its parameter. It's just above the power window selection on the right. Sorry hard to explain
@@GreenGoatProductions in my case, if I convert the clip to DWG I prefer to set DaVinci Wide Gamut in Timeline. Btw Cullen Kelly’s Luts are made for DWG
Yeah fair enough and a good point. Something I'll have a look into. I know Cullens are built for DWG, I have them. I'm a big fan of Arakon. What about you? some I think are heavy on the green.@@TheVDAP
