Aoa sir.civic 8th gen ,9th gen have euro 4 catalytic converter which is more restrictive with dual filters inside.whereas corolla has euro 2 cat system which is just straight pipes with no restriction.in pakistan fuel is of low quality due to which cats of civics 8th and 9th gen gets choked very quickly, result of loss in power and low pick up as compared with corolla grande.my suggestion is just install straight pipe cat with original sensors fittings on it.it will cost around 20k maximum.but your civics will get faster and quicker than corolla grande with out any problem and fuel average will also get better.7th gen has no cat in it ,just free flow headers and straight pipes.thats why it gives quick response.civic 8th and 9th gen engines have 141hp and corolla grande has 138hp.just install free flow cat and pull out 141 hp.thx.

The recomended oil viscocity for 2006 to 2012 r18a1 and 2013+ r18z1 is 5w30 in pak weather in all weather conditions however in 10gen civic dealerships are using 0w20 in 1.8 oriel
@@xerxestheii856 yeah right im using 5w30 in my toyota grande from the day i got it back in 2014 and toyota orignal 10w30 in my altis 1.6 which has 75000km on it still runs same like when it was new and last year i sold my 2014 wagon r with 118000km on it used total quartz 9000 5w30 in it from its very first oil change there are videos of its acceleration even with almost 100k on its clock and its acceleration was still the same with zero drop in performance and no burning of oil heck before all this i had a reborn which i drove 146000 km on 5w30 with zero problems.its the recomended viscocity from the manufactures they are not stupid.tell that to honda atlas who are using 0w20 which is recomended almost everywhere across the globe for the new civic 1.5t engine.i remember atlas using 5w30 from even back in the days in 2003 in civic 1.5 exi and 1.6vti they used same 5w30 viscocity which was packed by caltex chevron now total is packing oil for atlas honda so i dont know whats your experience

That's my experience! And i got honda civic 8th gen in 2012 and and i always use 5w40 Grade and since 2016 it runs pretty well! grande and civic both have same horse power. But civic is faster than grande because of the transmission. Grande's cvt is not that much fast. civic 9th gen goes 0-100 under ten seconds and Grande reaches the same in under 11:25 seconds. Civic remains planted even at 200 and Grande's steering starts shivering above 130 (you have to drop the car to an inch to rid of this issue but compromise the shocks damping and suspension work)......so civic is good for those who like to drive fast and aggressive (because engine can take the beating but only on good roads much like big cities). Corolla is an all rounder (suspension can take the beating, rough roads with pleasure). but "BOTH ARE RELIABLE, EVERY TIME you PUSH THE IGNITION THEY WILL START WITHOUT ISSUES UNLESS BATTERY IS LOW". this lady is not a car enthusiast and she needs to change the reliability thing to some more distinguishing aspect of civic than grande. i own a 9th gen and every time i drive the car from stand still in manual mode ( with d1 and d2 only) i get to 100 in 9 seconds with d3 being engaged at 108 then going up to 167kph. and its fun every time. In auto D mode it takes 10 to 11 seconds. but still better than grande because of the gears shifting. cvt is fuel economizer so it lacks that car feel more like a drone like feel although paddle shifters are a nice touch which i miss in 9th gen.

Civic 2015 is better than both City and Ciaz in terms of comfort and driving pleasure. Only buy a thoroughly maintained Civic, never an ill maintained one. City if you want good and quick resale. Ciaz is better than City in terms of fuel economy, comfort, build quality, ground clearance and cabin room. But Ciaz has a poor resale. So its really upto you. Me personally will go for the Civic

Due to traffic conditions in Pakistan cars often don't give a good fuel economy also it is not necessary that a bigger engine is supposed to give worse economy actually it's the other way round, if the engine is bigger lesser revs are required to attain same power as compared to a smaller engine hence it ends up giving better fuel economy than it's small counterpart
Rebirth has CVT transmission but 1.8L engine is the same one which came in reborn CVT transmission make it a lil bit more economical but it's bulky so power to weight ratio is mediocre
