This is the best rendition of this anthem that I have ever heard: an gifted Irishmen singing about America. In deed God has she'd His grace on America. This grace is common national grace where we are the most free and prosperous nation. But the grace that counts for eternity is God's redeeming grace that is in the blood atonement if the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe God sheds His common grace upon America is due to Christian's who pray for our country and participate in it's democratic process. Christian's must continue to do so. We cannot presume upon our country's common grace so Christian's must act upon their redeeming grace. We pray for the continuance of God shedding His (common) grace upon us as a nation.
Frank Patterson(1938-2000). An Irish tenor who spent most of his life in America. He now lies buried in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.
Our very country, as portrayed in this beautiful rendition by Mr. Patterson, owes it's existence to the military. No rocket science. there. I don't know what all the hoopla has been going on here about typing in military with the national anthem. I do know that hundreds of thousands of men and women have given their lives in order for you and me to be able sit and discuss issues. A strong, responsive military gets the job done after all the talk has been done. Always has, always will.
Yes, beautifully sung!
Absolutely beautiful! (Probably the finest rendition of this song which I've ever heard.)
