I would like to nominate my husband Arron Wallis. He has this past year built his pond and has some small koi which we loved sitting and watching during last summer. He works his butt off to provide for us and once he’s in from work cooks the tea and then sits down, turns on UA-cam and watches koi videos. He’s very eager to learn more about all thing koi and pond and you guys would bring him a wealth of knowledge 🙂

@Gaz's Koi Pond hi Gaz as a sufferer of depression might that be a topic for discussion, I know it has been spoken about before and I don't want to darken the chat but it does affect lots of us and not all admit to it or talk about it. Just a thought 👍
If you think about it logically furthest away from the flow in where the water cools still bit of water behind the pots less flow stays warmer than the bottom where the retro drain is moving the water round faster

Is it the water coming from your hose to cold?
I have 2 barrels that I put water in and use that to top up my pond, i don’t usually add water straight from my hose cause it’s too cold.

No the pond temperature went up by 1.5 degrees as the temperature of the water from the house was warmer than the temperature of the pond
Paul Smith subscribes to loads lost about 9k of fishbwith a bacterial issue last year always up for helping people really nice genuine guy
