God, my childhood right here. :D My mother had this sampler (don't remember what game it was included with) and I had fun playing the demos. Eventually my mom got me all 5 games in this sampler. Though the first Tonka Construction game eventually stopped working. MAN I was sad then. :(
God just listen to those nostalgic artifacts on those compressed soundclips. I really do miss the 90s and the early age of the internet before social media and the oligarchs eventually took over.
Magilla Gorilla Security Patrol agreed. The internet wasn’t intended for Backlash and social bullying. It was a way to explore a new technological frontier...It was MAN who used it wrong.
10:11 i remember that if you place any other clown digese on him (in this demo at least) the woman in the background says something like"in the full game the costume you pick will allow it,but for now we will dress him the way she wants him to look" and then it turns into the costume you chosen.
Howcome all the software title preview demos has one playable activity demo but the Play Doh game that’s the only only one that doesn’t have a playable activity for the demo why is that?
Were Tonka toys even sold under the Playskool brand? I'm aware the retail game lacks the Playskool branding, even though these demos are still on the disc.
I think maybe because they were originally going to add that kind of artwork to the play doh game but they changed it to a different type of artwork because they wanted to make it more colourful for the final release but the artwork you see on the video is probably the artwork they ended up not doing but they just wanted to show there original idea
Definitely remember this from when I had Playskool Puzzles as a kid. I remember getting so excited for the candyland game when I saw it

I remember this!!! I still have Candy Land, and I DID have Tonka Construction before I couldn’t run it along with Mr. Potato Head Activity center.
I know for one thing, Tonka Joe used to have a nine o'clock shadow in the beta version.
Oh god I remember this!!!! My mom got this for me when I was a wee one. Boy do I wish I got more of the software that was available. :D
So do I.

Were Tonka toys even sold under the Playskool brand? I'm aware the retail game lacks the Playskool branding, even though these demos are still on the disc.
PlaySkool got acquired by Hasbro Inc in 1984 so I believe so.
howcome play doh creations game case has a different picture then the one I always see on the internet and the one I have
yeah even the tonka construction box art is different from the final release

Another interesting fact: the voice of plumpy from the Candyland sample is different from the final version.
