I decided to only talk to the baby animals, because I thought talking to the parents would only make it monotonous, as you have to go out of your way to talk to all of them. Also, I think this is the longest walkthrough of this game on UA-cam to date. With the 15-minute limit gone, it makes it nice to know I can go as long as I need to, so I've began to make the walkthroughs much longer. I used to rush myself to keep the amount of parts down low, but now I've realized fast doesn't mean better.
As for my opinion on this game...meh, it's okay, but not great. I dislike how it doesn't have changing paths, and is quite short. I also thought the puzzles were too simple. Lots of people will call this their favorite Putt-Putt game, and I'm fine with that, but honestly I thought it could have been a little more. I do like the rapids and the ice hockey minigames though. The soundtrack is solid, with a few really good tunes. - Ігри
I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE PART OF THIS
Ashley Perkins I always loved going to the hockey ring and the place in the grasslands where you get a paintjob.
Wtf me too!

I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
@Walker Emilio Instablaster ;)
I remember always getting that damn hot chocolate and giving it to the snake
kamri edits ☕️🐍
I REMEMBER IT SO VIVIDLY
kamri edits 20:53
Always I remember this game like it was yesterday
we're here in 2020
Holy crap all of my childhood just came back and slapped me in the face
Olivia B mine beat me up in a dark alley and left me to rot. lolololol
Same!
same
CRAZYYYY HOW IT JUST COMES BACK TO YOU
Literally its crazy how watching these type of videos can do that 😭
Dude, the sound design in these games are A++ It gets trapped in your head forever
Everything, literally every sound. There's not one I don't remember and I was about 7 years old. Especially when they show the different ways you can take.
Yep, this was the first Humongous Junior Adventure game to use the Hanna-Barbera sound effects library, one of their favorite sound libraries to use in their games.
300th like
I still randomly hear the sound effects in my brain to this day
Pogo: We can make a song out of this!
This is so weird, when I played this I didn't know how to talk very well, so I remember the voices but not the words. Wow I'm having some crazy nostalgia
what u smoking
God Bless The Internet I played this when I was like 3 so I get it
the same!
Same, English isn't my native language so I didn't understand anything when I was younger but I can still remember everything they said in detail
Bro this is why I am a gamer now. Putt Putt, SpyFox, and Freddi Fish. Thanks for my childhood 😊
It's so weird; I remember these games better than many modern games. I guess that's what Nostalgia does
Seriously. Same.
I know this comment is old, but I completely agree! I obsessively played these games (this one specifically) as a child. Do you remember the "Pajama Sam" game series? I played those (mostly "No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside") often, too.
Modern games are okay, but these just had a weird charm newer games can't compete with. I guess that's nostalgia talking.
Cant forget pajama sam too!
Freaking right. I only ever played the Pajama Sam demo, but I had three junior field trip games haha
I love when he takes pics of the sad animals. It’s like “smile, you’re depressed.”
I WOULD SPEND SO MUCH TIME AT THE FOOD CART!!!
Yes! Same here! I remember I loved getting the hot cocoa :D
Nah, fam, the hockey was the best. (Opinion)
Andrea Deleon hot cocoa looked so fucking good with the whip cream on top. Especially as a 6 year old when there was nothin in the pantry
I seriously only remember the food cart!!
I spent hours listening to the two toucans tell corny jokes
13:50 I remember just sitting at that paint shack just swapping colors for literally hours. I was a weird kid I guess lol
Lol same
JZ DG3 I did the same thing!!! I found the cd rom today and of course it doesn’t work with new tech so I looked to find a video of it
Katie Bryan If you have apple you can buy it in the App Store
“I look good” lol
Me too!! It was just so satisfying 🤣
NOOO THE NOSTALGIA
You're not even old enough to call this nostalgia.
Chase D it may seem like that. When I was like 6-8 years old, my grandmother still had an old computer, with old games that my uncle and mom used to play. This was one of em cx. The computer/games are gone now tho :/
wow. these old games and computer were "new" when I was young lol.
thats pretty cool
i love the title. such a big spoiler for the plot
Andrew Chen It might have been spoilers, but as kids we were all in for the adventure.
XD
Why is there a green face yes and a red face no after quit?
The one thing i always loved about these games was the fact how rewarding it was to simply click everything and just watching random shit happen.
"I hope my little girl comes home soon, I'm so worried about her"
*takes picture of worried mother
Law and Order SVU
Dun dun
This was before they had lip sync, so they just made their lips randomly move in a cycle. Back then it was an accepted practice.
Humongous Fan Soundtracks haha
bruh akira in 88 could do that tho
Yep, it wasn't until the first "Pajama Sam" game they began experimenting with lip sync.
I watched 17 minutes of this because i remembered the rhino sound at 17:15 from like 20 god damn years ago and had to figure out what it was. A mini-game in a game from 20 years ago and I remembered a sound perfectly and could look up a video of what game I remembered it in.. wow lmao
I know. Things from our childhoods can really haunt us.
Haha exactly! I remember it too, damn the nostalgia is real
KingChevy7 the only reason i was searching for this video was because i wanted to hear than rhino 😂
I know, right? It's pretty funny hearing the rhinos going "meeoameeoameeoameeo!"
I came here looking for this specific sound and your comment lead me right to it!
These games have so much god damned personality. I can only hope there will be games like this available for my kids in the future.
Wil
nope we got tiktok now
I'll just let my kids play this. (And sorry for commenting on a 7 yo comment)
Nope, kids these days are on tik tok, Instagram, social media, etc
They're releasing them on Switch!
Ahh good ol' Putt Putt! I never got pass the Food Cart. Each time I start the game, I spend minutes making Putt Putt eats those snacks and drink them hot cocoa. And it entertains me like that. I also have to keep pressing EVERYTHING in a scene because it was funny seeing the small animation.
Putt Putt: "Hey, Outback Al! I rescued all the baby animals!!"
Outback Al: "Who the heck are you, matey?! I got a little purple car to do that job..."
Originella
Putt Putt: But Outback Al it's me Putt Putt!
Outback Al: I send a purple car and his dog *NOT* a blue car and his dog.
Putt Putt: But Outback Al it really is me Putt Putt.
Outback Al: So you really are Putt Putt?
Putt Putt: Yes that's what I been trying to tell you.
Outback Al: Hold that thought. (Calls the police) Hello Police I got a impersonator who believes he's my mate Putt Putt and trying to sneak into the Cartown Zoo so can you come in and you know take him to prison please?
Putt Putt: ????????
*Putt Putt got arrested later that day none of him believed he was the same Purple Car that Outback Al sent earlier and put in Cartown Jail where he being the curious child car that he is got killed in a prison fight his dog Pep was later prison food for the police who had a hunger for some hot dogs*
Amelia Beckley some say they are still in prison to this day
The one game where something like that actually can happen is the original, Putt-Putt Joins the Parade, where Smokey the Fire Engine initially doesn't recognize Putt-Putt if he comes back with a new paint job.
2:08 'Shameless self-promotion to be placed here' omglol
AHHH, cotton candy and hot chocolate. I use to click about 50 times on hot chocolate and I love it.
Me too. I'm so sad now a days. I wish I could be a kid again
Lmao me too
Wow...even the sound effects create a nostalgia wave! I'm so happy to know others loved this game as much as I have :D
It helps that these games use a lot of familiar sound effects from the old Disney, Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
aw man this video. im so high right now
iiwiwiiwkwkw
wl
look at me making fun of a political candidate im hilarious.
Dude me too :D
I was 5 when I played this stuff! Now 10 years later, just, ugh! I binged on this stuff man! I played this and the circus on 2 death. I always got stuck on the river part.
Luke Dahart same
I used to love changing the color of putt putt 💀 this is literally why I play video games now, this and pajama sam were my childhood before consoles.
I'm here because I remember freddi fish and there's another car game I remember that's very similar to putt putt but I think it was a red car and it was in a town and there were villain cars and stuff used to play it and freddi fish all day as a child but sadly can't remember the name of 1 video game I played 20 years ago 😂
This was my first Putt Putt Game I played. Brings back so much childhood 90s nostalgia back to me.
Even the 00's kids got to enjoy this classic
Same!
+MusicHaven2012 2001 here! seems like the 90s-early 2000s were the best times to be a child (looking at all the fun stuff we had)
Hey! Me too
omg i used to get so many of the cheese puffs :') this s making me nostalgic
jessica idk this brings back so many 5 year old me memories (sigh):)
jessica idk ikr same
+jessica idk I'm half tempted to see if steam has this. so I can feel like I'm 5 again.
Same
Man only two of the computers in my elementary school library had this game on it and kids would Literally fight over whose turn it was Lol good times
I remember when I first played the game, I would accidentally press a certain place and it would play this really annoying song and there was no was to escape it.
...yeah there was. You use the Escape key.
HumongousSoundtracks I was a little kid at the time, I didn't know.
+Donald Trump na Putt Putt for president
True
Can you deport the Kardashians?
Man, I spent a month looking for this game. All I remembered was the little seals doing tricks on the ice. My wife showed me some old humongous games like Freddie Fish and Spy fox, and I saw putt-putt... I was like "I never heard of this, never played it."
But then I saw a familiar scene in the thumbnail - and I finally found the game!! Then I remembered getting a new paint color, getting the coffee and nuts, the seal in the dam (the wrench part was SO satisfying), giving the snake the hot coco...
Man, I love my dad. This brings back great memories.
In life, they try to get you to spend all your time focusing on unimportant things... that seem SUPER important at the time.
But in the end, none of it all matters, except for the love.
Love and laugh while you can. Enjoy the happiness of the moment.
Love you all. Thanks dad.
Humongous games were one of the most relaxing, non-stressful aspects of life.
I always wanted to know what a cheese squigly tasted like
Bro, this is a delightful masterpiece side of our child not gonna lie. Even I thought it was airport mania cause' the artstyle looks same. The game is such put giant nostalgia. I'm crying right now *sobs*
Watching this video 24 years later... Just made my day😍
I remember most of the dialogues... And the interactions with the surroundings.
i was digging through my dad’s closet when i found the disc for this behind some boxes, and all the memories of me and my dad playing this together when i was around 3 or 4 came rushing back. i immediately looked up a walkthrough of the game on youtube, and it’s as if i played it just yesterday. i remember every little part of this game. i miss the innocent days, wish i could go back
Fun fact: In the paint shack, there is a sleeping blue parrot that yawns exaggeratedly when clicked on. If you click on the tree leaves above said parrot, this bird with a long beak trolls the parrot by preceding to drop an acorn on his head, although the parrot ignores it and goes back to its slumber. If you click the tree leaves and then the parrot a split second later, (might take some skill), you can actually make the parrot choke on the acorn that troll bird drops. I found this hysterical when I played this game before Kindergarten.
Heh, in the "Animal Tag" min-game I love how the zebras say "Hey! Ya got me!" and that goofy "memenamemenamena" noise the rhinos make.
That welcome to the zoo song still SLAPS! This game withstood the test of time! If I could play it again it would!
All of these games are actually available to purchase on the App Store except for Fatty Bear, Pajama Sam 4, and Putt-Putt Pep’s Birthday Surprise. But every game is available to purchase on Steam, including the ones that aren’t on the App Store. I bought all of them a couple years ago and I play them a lot for fun and for my UA-cam channel! They bring back so many memories!
@@DreamChaserGrace oh shit!!! Well I know what I'm buying after work lol
I never feel old until I see things like this that I used to play, especially if I'm still older than they are.
9:45 I like how he swings over the alligator and just looks down afterwards like "yeah bitch you thought"
This and Freddi Fish would occupy me for HOURS back in the day
Funny. I never realized this was released in 1995. I was born in 2002 and loved playing this. I guess that's what happens when you have siblings born in the 90's that I assume they also played
this and the pajama sam series were such a huge part of my childhood game memories
Deeply embedded. You reference it and everyone starts with Mario cart
I never realized how slow they talked back then. nice touch for a kid still learning :)
My key memory from this is getting the cheese curls and hot cocoa and thinking it looked like the most delicious thing ever...
The only Putt Putt game I got a chance to play as a kid. Thanks for uploading
This is the only Putt-Putt I had also. It was a good game. But I did have all of Freddie Fish, PJ Sam and SpyFox.
Wow... nostaliga hit me like a rockslide.
I still have "It's a snap-shot moment" engraved in my head.
Man, I remember playing this when I was little. Repeatedly buying cheese curls at the stand, good times
saves the zoo and goes to the moon were great. the 90s were a good time to have a younger sibling.
I’m going to cry! This was my absolute favorite game as a kid! I would always play it at my grandparents’ house when dial up internet was still a thing!!!
Yeah, as someone else said, personality was really the way with these games. Such fun music, animation and atmosphere, like a Bonkers, Hanna-Barbera type world just springing to life.
A true instance of “they don’t make ‘em like they used to” anymore.
I don’t know how or why I ended up here but I guess I wont complain. I remember ever single bit of this game by heart. So much nostalgia.
This is so nostalgic its crazy.
nostalgia hit me in the face I remember being poor asf and only being able to play the demo and I would beg my mom for the full game but i still had fun🥲
I forgot about this game until I stumbled upon this video, now the nostalgia is exploding!
Oh my god it’s all coming back to me with literally each frame. These are some old memories.
15:58 just the way that zebra talked after forgetting it for so long is funniest thing
I played this game as a kid and I never realized that thing about the billboard. You know, that when it's clicked on, it can change into different pictures.
The animal reactions in the tag game are hilarious. This is great.
That junior zookeeper award is as powerful as an infinity stone
Came to watch with my brother for the nostalgia. Sure wasn't expecting to see a Deliverance reference here
I randomly started to remember Freddi fish last night, and then came across all the old computer games I used to play. Wow. Havent seen these since they were on a big fat monitor lol.
I found myself humming "putt putt saves the zoo" over and over, now here I am. I'm accessing a core memory
Oh my god I can't believe I'm looking at this again. I'm so happy to see this game. I was so young!!!! I love this game. I freaking love this game!! So many good memories.
This makes me cry tears of joy I miss this time in my like when I was like 4 years old
Old Memories Of My Childhood
I remember I would always play in the ice hockey rink
Eileen Taylor 🏒🥅
The nostalgia. I remember I learned how to make my own custom cursor arrows for my computer, and I copied the design of the skinny rounded out arrow of this game but in blue. I had a blue Putt Putt arrow for the rest of my computer😂
remember the barn on fire with the sheeps? that scared me as a child. I miss this:(
Man, things I didn't remember are coming back to me. Teensy things, like the sound affect for the flamingos in the tag game. :')
this game got me through my childhood
This game was my childhood
That last goal you got literally went right through him!
I’m so glad steam has this and for so cheap so I can play this again I’ll be 27 next month but it brings back memories I always wanted to try the hot chocolate and the cheese snacks 😂
i remember playing this when i was little in the early 2000s, but the cd got lost :(
but i still have putt putt's one stop fun shop, saves the circus, dog on a stick, and travells through time :D
i don't think i ever got past the billboard for some reason, because i don't remember anything that happened after it, none of that looks familiar!
It makes me so happy that they went to the little circle pond in the rapids- that was always my favorite part of the game and I’d sit there for a good ten minutes listening to the music before moving on.
I’m so fucking happy i finally found this game again, so much nostalgia in my brain right now, I’ve been searching for this game for years, mother fuckin memories man.
As a kid, I only ever played the demo of this game on the Pajama Sam 1 disc. Due to a file referring to this demo as "Puttzoo", that's what I called the game. I liked that name because it sounded like something you'd say when you sneeze.
I am now 23 and remember playing this when I was like 4 years old. Ahh simpler times
I played this game sooooo much as a kid.... I love feeling nostalgic!
i remember every SINGLE part of this game so much, i loved the paint shack and the bird there! i also just remember going to the food cart and getting cheese squigglies so much thats what i call cheetos today oml im cackling
So many memories 😢 I miss the old days.
OMG dude this was my childhood. i loved all of these games.
i love how theres so much to interact with in these games. . also i always wanted to eat those cheese squigglies as a kid lol
This is the first Putt-Putt game I ever played. I got it on the day I got my first Spy Fox game (Dry Cereal). I grew up with the 1999 version, but somehow I have now got the 1995 version instead.
Yo I’m 22 and I still remember this game. And still love the nostalgia it brings back for me. We are the topiary creatures.
So much nostalgia. I think I got this in a cereal box
hahaha 22:40 "Get em' while their beverages!"
I loved playing this when I was younger.
At 30:58 when they’re moving the mouse with the music I laughed so hard
Me too
Omg so precious, I still love this game to this day! I always thought it had good humour, was funny and was relaxing to play on those calm peaceful summer evenings .Makes me yearn and feel again for those lazy dreamy days as a young kid.
Can we all agree that Outback Al is the worst zookeeper ever?
I cannot believe I remember the name After nearly Ten Years and remember a couple of the things, Used to Love It! Still Do!
I still remember this, I will never forget the memories I had in this game
This was my first HE game. This sure does bring back memories.
This was my childhood!!
This was my childhood.
Looking back on my childhood. Humongous games actually got me into video games. I remember constantly playing Putt Putt, Pajama Sam, Freddi Fish, and some of the Backyard sports games haha. Ohhhh childhood. Hell, even at age 20 these games still look well when it comes to simple animation
I love this game every day after school back in the late 90's very early 2000's when I was a little kid!
god i remember everything and watching it makes me nostalgic but it somehow feels different at the same time seeing it after all these years
I loved this game as a kid. I remember this is the one Putt putt Game I played all the time.
I remember that part at 33:22.
When I press either on the ground, go to the scenic view or going to the cave, there was one time which scares me. When Putt-Putt is about to get off the raft, he NEARLY fell off the raft but made it on the ground.
I press the raft and get on the ground many times, it's either normal or he almost fell off the raft.
