Did you end up finding a solution? What ever you do don’t break that switch that the brake handle connects to and the throttle cable. Searching for one for my 79 and can’t find one anywhere. Only really need to bottom piece of it not the actual switch, can’t even find that.

This is different then my 90 ,, but looks like my early 110s ,, look up the part for a 80 -81 110 you might find a direct replacement
Im curious if a bike shop coukd one from original?
