Redding 280AI die neck sizing issues
Переглядів 152 місяці тому
I had already ran these 2 casings through the resizing. Trimmed, powdered and was seating the Speer 160 SPBT 7mm bullets. I have had no problems in the past. This die is fairly new and might have seated 50 rounds. When seating there was no resistance so I took powder out to redo thinking somehow I didn't resize these. The video shows the 2nd run through the resizer. I pulled the die apart can't...
Catcher's ball blocking drill

This is a drill to teach little league catchers to block dirt balls. Not showing is we start out not throwing but pointing left/right/& straight for the catcher to go down straight or slide left/right and down to block. I teach the throwing hand in a fist behind the Mitt. We mix up the throwing to keep the catcher alert for balls any place. I am on a bucket side arming the throws only about 20 ...

Tapping 1st Spring
Переглядів 112 місяці тому
This is my 1st spring to tab. Not much info in the video. I found this spring a while back. It first appeared as s seep through the rocks. I spent a lot of time removing rocks to get to the source. During process I found three different flows. The area was too big to combine all in one so I chose this one for now. What you see is a 12" x 18" piece of a blue barrel. I have a 1" pvc pipe inserted...

There are as I think I understand is there are two different 280AI dies. One is a Saami and one is the original. If you go on Lee Precision and click like your going to order the 280AI resizing die they will explain this further. It’s kinda confusing and may blame Nosler for causing the confusion

Nice build! I also used plexiglass for a deer blind I made for my dad, on the right side I made it a sliding window and used trim lumber to make the railings for it. The other I used an old cabinet door and cut out the middle and placed the plexiglass over it and secured it with wood trim. So in both situations I never actually drilled through the plexiglass. But I’m no expert and have heard it can crack easily. Any tips on actually drilling through the plexiglass to make sure it doesn’t crack? Unless if the answer is slow and steady! Appreciate the video!

I have mine slide from side to side using two glasses....... instead of up and down. That way..... you can just crack it open . Limiting cold air from entering.

Just my 2 cents some C channel would work nicely if you didn’t wanna cut a slash for the glass to slide

In my homemade archery blind I made the plexiglass windows on hinges to swing open silently. There’s no fiddling with fighting to raise them in slide brackets. The windows have large hole mesh cloth fastened to them so the deer can be seen easily but can’t actually see in. There are 3 windows, the back wall on has a small permanent glass to check behind the blind, that are 12” wide and 30” tall. The blind flat roof is 7’6” high so you can stand and shoot. It’s on a 10’ high platform that is on a small bench about 8’ above the feeder . So this puts the standing shooter 23 feet up in reality. It’s great for cold weather with a heater. No sense in freezing when you don’t have to. It’s perfect for me at 73 years old, especially when the temps drop in late October and November. I like the swinging windows way better that the sliders.

We only put about 5 hours in on this update. We spent about 45 minutes contemplating how to set yhe post up, the angle and drop of the roof. With a 16 ft roof we decided on a 6 inch drop. Once we got both post cut we now have a good pattern for the rest of the post.

Is that a stock carb? I had to buy an oem carb cap for my aftermarket carb. The metal wire guide on the cap was loose to the touch. Your cable rubber doesn’t have a red line in it so it makes me think it’s not oem?

Hey have you joined the Honda CT 90 owners group on Facebook? If you post this on that group they can help you out for sure. How’s your air filter? Sometimes when it’s not getting good oxygen it can bog down like that. Also is your battery good and charged up? Also sounds like The throttle slide inside the carb might be getting stuck.

FYI, THERE IS A PROTECTION DEVICE INSIDE OF THE INVERTER. MINE SBUT DOWN A YEAR AGO AND I SET IT ASIDE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS WHILE I USED ANOTHER INVERTER. THAT ONE THEN QUIT. SO I TRIED THE CENTECH AGAIN AND ILL BE DARN! IT WORKED AGAIN? IT JUST QUIT AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND PULLED IT APART, LIKE YOU AND TESTED ALL THE FUSES WITH AN OHM METER. THE FUSES ARE GOOD, I ALSO DRAINED THE CAPACITORS BEFOR PULLING IT APART. ONCE IT IS DOSCONNED FROM THE BATTERY, JUST TURN THE SWITCH ON AND LET IT SET FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. THEN YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE BOARD. ILL HOOK IT UP IN A BIT AND SEE IF CAPS CHARGE UP AND SEE IF IT WORKS AGAIN.

I have worked on (10) Dumoulin Mausers. None pushed the firing pin back properly ~ 0.030". Some had the safety at a more relaxed spring than on the trigger, as shown in this video. Some worked. Some safeties would not Engauge because the safety cased the spring to be too compressed. .

  • @hillsideadventures4024

I had this problem with mine too ,, it has to do with how the throttle cable goes into the carb ,, it is either to tight or to lose play with the adjustment screw in the carb cap ,go one way and see if it helps if not go the other way , also there should be a little tab your throttle cable goes through on your frame by the forks when your cable is through that with the plastic cover on it will not high rev as much when you turn handle bars right my 90 and all my 110s do it. A little

  • @slowtwist

These are great safeties. This is a timing issue from the trigger and safety not being installed correctly. The firing pin should retract a small amount when the safety is engaged. The trigger spring should be strong enough to return it to home position if it is pulled while on safe. This is the same reason the Walker trigger on the Rem. 700 failed. Not a design problem, people jacked with the factory settings that had locktite on them. A little rust on the trigger pivot point making it sticky. Walker did a interview when he was in his 90's and said he had a fix that prevented the trigger from being pulled while on safe that cost 6.50 and Remington management shot it down because of the cost.

Did you end up finding a solution? What ever you do don’t break that switch that the brake handle connects to and the throttle cable. Searching for one for my 79 and can’t find one anywhere. Only really need to bottom piece of it not the actual switch, can’t even find that.

That’s a beautiful gun. That’s not a pin, that’s the bottom of the screw that runs thru the tang from the top into the trigger plat. It sandwiches the lock area so to speak. Take the lock out by removing the lock screw. Put the lock on half cock, remove the lock screw. You see the head of the screw on the left side. Gently wiggle the lock, Now you can look at the workings. The fly should flip as you go to full cock. It could be there is debris preventing this from happening. Either way, I would contact Pedersoli for advise. If that lock is defective, they should make it right one way or the other. That’s a safety issue.

The trigger block didn't return to catch the sear of the bolt, after you had pulled the trigger. Your trigger is at fault and needs cleaning.

  • @boarzwid1002
    @boarzwid1002 2 роки тому

Re adjust the trigger it’s a falling sear like a timmney trigger, then check for sear override when safety is on check jam screws for loose trigger house ing then if you have override on cocking sear , if it does, stone off front of cocking sear on bolt until you cannot fire the gun while taking the safety OFF
