Jose, well said. That’s why ggg team doesn’t fight Jacobs 6 months or even a year after, because they know a second fight could end the winning streak and this is concerning to the GGG team’s pocket. Canelo is not getting much credit here, the first fight Canelo was still the smaller guy, remember he was the one with the shorter reach not so much the bulky physique, but the height and reach advantage was for GGG who is not just the WBC middle weight champion but the “unified” middle weight champion. When a fighter is a champion at this level and when you have fought at this weight division in the entirety of your boxing career the level of expectancy to come and beat a smaller fighter not by a few points but by a high marginal difference and possibly a KO is greatly expected, and as much as I once liked GGG he was very short of completing that. My support is for Canelo, was when I first started watching his fights via Mexican networks and it still is today. #trueboxingfan

Running is what McGregor did against nate. Canelo was there all night including laying on the ropes. GGG still did no real damage.
...It was supposed to be an interview for Gennady, so why was Abel there answering questions? When Canelo was being interviewed; he did it by himself and without any interruption from his trainer. What Gennady thinks is different than what Abel Sanchez is saying. Maybe Abel should get in the ring with Canelo; since he is doing most of the trash talk.

The Lara fight I saw Lara win the first 3 rounds but once Canelo started digging to the body he kept avoiding Canelo. Canelo had to cut the ring and corner him to get work in. Once he slowed him down he busted his face with a nice uppercut. Lara was avoiding canelo. Canelo did not avoid ggg he was on the ropes a lot and stayed there to see if ggg would throw so he could counter but ggg never went off on Canelo when on the ropes he just jab Canelo. He should have went to the body more to make Canelo not use lateral movement as much but again ggg didn't do that he only threw 8 body shots. Here's the proper way to answer that: When you are circling the ring and getting outlanded in each round almost the entire fight, that is not slick boxing...that is surviving, period.

Nothing wrong with boxing on the back foot but honestly Canelo kinda ran, he fought for 30 seconds then just avoided GGG for the other 2.5mins... If he would have fought like he did for those 30 sec for about 2-2.5mins per round it wouldn't be running. Just my opinion!
