I've massively enjoyed every person who's taken part in this channel's Ren breakdowns, and I want to see all of them doing more of it, but Sean DEFINITELY has to come back and do more.
This was probably my favorite reaction to Dominoes. It's an incredibly underrated song that I resonate with on a deep personal level. It's always been one of my favorites and I enjoyed your insight so much. Can't wait to see you exposed to more Ren. As others have said, if you like lyricism, Ren is the guy.
Ren IS wordplay, rhythm schemes, percussion with the words, personalized honesty/truth, amazing musicality and pure storytelling. ❤❤❤ Even in the ‘just for fun’ songs there are layers of wordplay and I catch something new every time I listen to them.
(regarding Ren's use of the word 'fuck') - "I'll probably use this song in classes now... " I'll take any and all reasons someone would bring Ren's art into a classroom. Sean might be interested in Ren's song "Crutch," certainly with its background context - Ren was seriously sick at that point, spent nearly every hour of every day unable to leave his bedroom, was unhealthily skinny, and felt very ugly and unlovable. idk, it might not carry the full weight of its link to your discussion here if it was the very next song Sean got to listen to though; maybe its full role in that discussion can only be felt if you know more of the story than just a one-line description of "this is how sick Ren was."
Incredible reaction guys. I was mesmerised buy the depth of your analysis Please please do more Ren reactions they almost all have super deep subject matter with amazing story telling artistry. And musicianship Great stuff guys
Thank you for your thoughtful, in-depth reaction. I first clicked to watch this a day ago.,since it is another wonderful song of Ren's. Then saw how long your video reaction was, but heard enough to know that I wanted to hear what this intelligent man had to say ...so, I saved to watch later. Thoroughly enjoyed your breakdown of the words, music and how they were performed.
Wow! An intellectual Ren reaction is my favorite! Great insight about the rhyme scheme. You’ve really added value here. Thank you. I’d love to see you two react to REN’s Chalk Outlines, after that maybe Penitence, How to Be Me, and the Money Game series. Maybe even his new release Slaughterhouse.
Very stimulating discussion as usual! I'd be very interested to see you analyze Little Blue (the live Mahogany Sessions recording) by Jacob Collier. It is at once both beautifully simple and strikingly complex in its lyrical content and musical nuances. The second half of the piece is a deeply impactful improvised acapella sequence that embodies better than anything (in my recent memory at least) collective human connection on a spiritual level. Every reactor I've seen experience this performance has been visibly moved, often to tears, and at a loss for words in the wake of its profound beauty. I can already imagine Sean's reaction as the chorus shifts from "Don't be afraid of the dark..." to "Don't be afraid of the light..."
Sean would love the "The Tale of Jenny & Screech" Trilogy which show's Ren's minstrel story telling talents (Ren's fan's refer to his style as Bardcore 😍).
In Doctor Who it was Ecclestone, #9 and Billie Piper, Rose in " The End of the World" Cassandra was the last human and was just a large skin tag stretched and suspended in a frame. Great episode!💕🍌🪛 ?👃
If you like wordplay, Ren is your man.
I don’t know I’ve ever seen someone get introduced to Ren through Dominoes. Enjoying rhis
Just save Uninvited for a while

Oh wow. Great analysis. I'd love to see Sean's reaction to "Hi Ren". No doubt he'd have a lot to say.

He doesn't just 'go by Ren'. Ren is his name. Ren Gill, or Ren Erin Gill, to give his full name. :)
Thanks!

Thank you so much! It’s so interesting playing this incredible music for Sean.
Really thoughtful analysis and discussion of one of my favorite Ren tracks❣️
By far my favorite reaction to Dominoes. What an interesting introduction to Ren.
Thanks!

Thanks for the really in depth analysis of this song. I really enjoyed your insights…
This is exactly how to do a reaction video. Watch first and enjoy and THEN listen again with commentary. Nice job
Too many people stop a hundred times on the first listen and never grasp the thing entirely.
Thanks!
Wow excellent reaction please make him react to hi ren and Tales of Jenny and Screech
On the list! Thanks!
Very important song.
Very stimulating discussion as usual!

Money Game 1,2,3 another level

Ooooo, I think you are right! Definitely have to share that with Sean.
This would be perfect as it’s Ren at his most “Bardcore”. The reaction would probably end up being a whole weekend webinar, but it would be worth it!
Lovely! ❤
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
🔥❤️
" Ah! Ren!" is now a synonym for WtF!
In Doctor Who it was Ecclestone, #9 and Billie Piper, Rose in " The End of the World" Cassandra was the last human and was just a large skin tag stretched and suspended in a frame. Great episode!💕🍌🪛 ?👃

Thank you for Audrey Hepburn's beauty tips.
Audrey Hepburn 😊
Thank you, Cheese. Cant believe I blanked on her name. Ms. Hepburn didn’t write the poem on beauty, but quoted it often.
