I just attended an info session at WCU and I’m so excited to apply. I’m just worried about the cost. I have all but 4 GEs done. I hope that knocks down the cost a decent amount. Glad I found your videos!
Yes having GEs knocked mine down from 140 to about 90!! Goodluck on your journey, I remember making the decision was really hard and scary for me too, lmk if you have any questions! 🫶🏽
Hello, thank you for posting update videos of your current journey in nursing. I always enjoy watching them. Anyways, can you please tell me how’s that new book you bought going, the daughters of mudarai? Is the story good?
I love watching your videos! They make me feel like I can get through this. This might be too personal, but do you also work while you're in school? If so what do you do? I HAVE to work no matter what, so I'm just researching positions and such that will be flexible and allow me to be financially stable AND allow me to go to WCU.
part time, remotely though so I got lucky 😭 definitely look into care coordinating, health receptionist, CNA, professional student nurse, you gotta do what you gotta do 😪 my friends in my cohort actually recently discussed this issue of how long we can all keep going along the program and continue to work 🫠 good luck girly! You got this!
At WCU I know the first term schedule is assigned to you but after the first term do you register yourself for classes & are able to pick your schedule?
I like how you just deleted my comment about how saying an oath to a constitution is "culty" instead of addressing it. You do realize that if you were to have continued with the VA, every single one of your patients took that exact oath. All federal officials are also required to take a constitutional oath as well. Does that mean they belong to a cult as well? Extraordinarily disrespectful and tone deaf on your part. Go ahead and delete this comment, but as someone who wants to become a nurse, you need to develop thick skin.
Hi, the deeper we get into the programmer the harder it is to keep full time but I think part time is manageable so long as your work is understanding that your schedule changes ever 10 weeks! There are also student nurse positions you can apply for after your funds term and they are super understanding of the schedule!
Hello, I’m in the process of applying and regarding the loan do u apply for the 1st academic year then reapply after each academic year? After every couple terms? I don’t rlly know it’s my 1st time applying for a loan thx😅
Yes you reapply every academic year (4 terms) depending on where you are it ranges from 2-3 financial packages. Definitely book with your financial advisor if you have any questions! it’s literally what you pay the school for… so take advantage of having a financial advisor since it’s in the tuition any way!!
Hi I have been trying to figure out how I’m going to get student loan I have bad credit and I was wondering what job to work at while attending this school I have no family or support
many people get a significant other or sibling or friend to co-sign for their loan. If you have bad credit you’re still eligible for a loan I think the interest will just be higher but think of your month cost for the e loan when you start paying it in compactor how much you’ll be making as a nurse! You can also book an appointment with financial advisor through the school as a prospective student which I really recommend!
Hi! I’m starting my second CORE term in few weeks:) glad to see the gist of it. Thank you for the videos 😊
