The fact that they had 3 guys (JBJ, Richie Sambora and Dave Bryan) hitting Eb5s here is just insane. The most vocally talented band ever.
Sorry, Bon Jovi is the band of my life, but I think the Eagles are vocally the best band when it comes to guys playing instruments and singing.
A big dose of studio trickery too ;)
You forget Alec Jon Such, he sings very high notes.
In the harmony they are actually also hitting G5s
@@dylanjwebmusic that’s crazy. Must’ve been either just DB or reinforced falsettos? I don’t think Richie can belt higher than Eb and his high chesty sounding scream was F5 I think
Jon's range is just incredible.
Amen dude, amen..
MichaelD8393 is range is awesome
@@tjpagute567 But he can't even do it live
Was
even in the 80s, he never did this high note live... so... I cant give him the credit.
YOU LIVE FOR THE FIGHT WHEN THAT'S ALL THAT YOU'VE GOT!
WOOOOOOOAH

Jon's voice is good, but omg Richies backing vocals though.
And no autotune.
Imagine if Jon had his voice from the 80’s now
if only
I think 90s is better. A lot of damage happened to him in the 80s
@@miftahahmaddaud5535 84-86 and 93-95 were his strongest years personally
Eb5 backing vocals. That was insane
Once upon a time not so long ago
Tommy used to work on the docks, union's been on strike
He's down on his luck, it's tough, so tough
Gina works the diner all day working for her man
She brings home her pay, for love, for love
She says, we've got to hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot
Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Tommy's got his six-string in hock
Now he's holding in what he used to make it talk
So tough, it's tough
Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night, Tommy whispers
Baby, it's okay, someday
We've got to hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot
Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Livin' on a prayer
Oh, we've got to hold on, ready or not
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got
Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Woah, we're half way there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer

35 years ago they only had tape. No auto tune, no pro tools. 35 years ago they had tape...and talent.
That's right but this song particularly was played at a slower speed so that Jon could hit the one or two semitones lower. Then it was sped up again and the melody got back up by a couple of semitones. Still impressive tho.
How are you retired at 26...
Incrível!
