I check raider. Io for the build to see what others are running after I do my own testing, and many have gone back to the bone spike variation. Instead of the MA. Both are still very viable one offers a quick opener and the other offers more control and longer lasting dmg and bleeds
why would you use shiv at the beginning of the rotation. You use shiv last 8 seconds of kingsbane so the big hits of kingsbane benefit from the shiv bonus damage not the small hits at the beginning

@@Killakris I'm almost certain the sims do not favour this choice in any scenario that is not ST. The reason for this is the uptime of that buff is used spreading garrotes and ruptures when you really want to during your envenom caustic splatter funnel phase of the aoe. This talent is not a good choice for m+. And you wove a tempest into your ST. Tempest only becomes a DPS gain when used on 3 or more targets.
I'll look into it, the damage overall in a dungeon seems to be abit higher with the master assassin build and I get to put out abit more control. Especially with pugs. And I vanish during pulls as well which is where MA really shines if you do it late in KB
@Killakris your video demonstrates dps in a dungeon that had one of the biggest pack pull sequences in the game. With the first pull allowing 10m+ bursts. Would be nice to see how you do in a grim batol for example with more controlled groups/pulls. As your avg dps is barely higher than mine overall in this video vs my grim runs. And I have 625 gear. It just feels like you picked an inflated dungeon pull as your video example.

It depends on the build, I've and pulls, if you play the variation with bones pike you gain a faster opener, but you will miss the 25% crit

Do you double garrote same target and it still spread to so many others? I have always garrote one and swapped to another that it didnt spread to.

You can double the same of you can do multiple targets difference is you gain more time on the main target and 1 less garrote
