I know it's not supposed to be this deep but I like how this movie shows you that your family isn't always your blood relatives (especially ones that don't care about you) and that you can make/find your own real family from your friends that you love and care for.
I think they did. They all seemed genuinely happy together and Sarah (the mom) seemed to actually fall for David. It was clear that all of them truly seemed to care about each other.
I think they filmed the last scene with Brad before “David” shaved because in the whole movie, his face was clean but In the ending with Brad and the beginning, he had a beard
I don't think so. I'm pretty sure they just have to stay in the suburbs together because Rose, Casey and Kenny are witnesses alongside David. So when the trial ends, they can all go home (I could be wrong though). The ending is really confusing to me.
@@dawnyole3701 naaaah the implication is definitely that that stayed together even after the witness protection ended. Sarah and david fell in love and had nowhere else to go, plus kenny was abandoned by his mother and casey also seemed to enjoy her new lifestyle throughout the movie.
100%. They became a family. Thats why Casrey left qnd was crying when he lied about the money and rose and kenny wouldnt leave her. He also could leave w/o them but he didnt

This ending is weirdly wholesome

They have pick up shoots and reshoots before wrap, and that can take place 4-6 months later. Could be one of the last things done.
It's not a continuity error, he was late delivering the weed! Then he shaved once he went into witness protection

Seeing Ed Helms as a villain is strange
He was one in Meet Dave
The part where they show the weed plants growing....
The depth of this content in just three minutes!
Wouldn't they have to change their names being in witness protection?
They usually keep their first names and change their last name. None of them actually had the last name Miller.
