I appreciate all these alopecia traction videos. Cuz a lot of people are dealing with alopecia traction and don't know how to take care of their hair and don't know what type of style to get . One thing about alopecia traction if you don't know how to care of your hair it just gets worse.
Yes, going through it, and it gets worse, trying to figure out what I can do.
For all the clients that you work with who have alopecia it would be nice to hear and learn how they got this condition: was it heredity, wigs, weaves, medication, or what. This added discussion would add depth to the conversation and aid those watching to take preventative care.
I agree because I don’t have it but I want to make sure i don’t develop it either. Some people don’t realize until its too late.

Welcome back. I missed you. You always do a fabulous job. Maybe you can speak to how we can avoid losing our hair in this way. I see young girls with very tight, heavy braids. Some of those beautiful girls at 7 years old have no edges.

Hi Crystal, I love your channel. You do great work. When will you be in Houston? I have alopecia from wearing tiny tight braids in the past. It is located directly above my ear and around my edges. I will love to stpp wearing weave to cover the flaw & wear a short pixie style. Can you mold my hair even with alopecia on the lower sides?

Kesha Pri Hi! I actually had this issue for a few years, terrible hair thinning! One of the first things I would say is to make sure that you speak with your doctor (do you have an endocrinologist? Or maybe getting treatment from your primary?) about the appropriate treatment for you! Thats number one because you can do every topical treatment, but really need to heal from the inside out. I personally use Armour Thyroid as it treats both T3&T4. Also, I’ve always taken hair skin & nail vitamins, main ingredients should be biotin & MSM. Keeping hair moisturized & limiting tension as much as possible (and limiting heat!) My hair has grown back so much within the year! Good luck to you!
