Hey brother! I grew up in the 90s, lucky for sure, and my father was a huge gamer so I was even more lucky. But we never picked this one up. I just got it on mobile and I got to say so far I'm really impressed.
You missed an Easter egg. At the start of the game there is an Inn next to the Water Palace. I don't know how it is done, but on my first playthrough of the game, outside of the Inn you could actually meet up with that Cat that sell stuff. It had some special dialogue for that encounter that was never seen in the rest of the game. However when you leave and go to the water palace, the cat trader leaves that area and never comes back.

ive done the 9th sword orb glitch over and over and over again and not once has it corruped any save file... the only thing it does, is let you fight the manis (or i like to call it steroid syther)... however if you do the glitch pass the 9th orb it will corrupt the save file and sometimes delete all 4 save file
We got ours on Ebay. Search for 'Gamecube Dolphin' or 'Gamecube NPDP'. They don't pop up often. Games (NPDP disks) appear even less frequently. Good luck!

It's an N64DD specific cart with AV hookups that allow you to connect a camcorder or camera to the N64. There's also a mic input, which is the same as the Hey You Pikachu microphone. This allowed you to utilize the Mario Artist software and input your own face to create your own Mii (but prior to the Wii existing). There are a few we didn't cover, but most notably there's a glitch that allows you to get the Mana Sword upgrade before the final battle.
