This manufacture was then one of the very first companies with a global vocation. It has made it possible for many people in the region to work there. It was closed in 1989.
OMG! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Buyer beware!! Always do your own research. Sellers might not be intentionally deceitful, they just don't know anything about sewing machines. Did they still make hand cranked machines in the 50's?
They did Karen. This is an original hand crank on a late 1950's/early 1960's Singer 191b. I even have an easy 1960's hand crank Singer 128. I've seen sellers claiming their machine was made in the early 1900's because it doesn't have a motor. And others claiming the machine was made in the 1960's because it has a bolt on motor. And every in-between 🙂 There is a FB group on ridiculous sewing machine listings. If you want to be amazed, check it out -- So much fun!
@@erikneek It's amazing to think hand crank machines were still being produced that late in the century! I just bought one at an auction not only because they're beautiful machines but also so I can learn to sew on one. I find it amazing that people could crank their machines at a consistent speed AND sew one handed at the same time. That's real skill! I will definitely check out that FB page. It sounds hilarious! :-)
@@nortok00 I agree! Having only one hand for your project, and the other hand one the hand crank... That's amazing. I still cant do that. I'm better in filming then I am in sewing - I still need to hands on my material. 🙂

@@MINUX75 thank you for the additional information.
Ah, the wonderful world of online sales!
Mate! Those adverts are always a joy (and frustration at the same time). :-)

@@erikneek LOL. I will let you know if I graduate to one handed sewing. I'm skeptical of my abilities. Haha. 🧵
